We always plant bronze fennel for butterflies but this year they're ignoring it in favor of the milkweed. Added a WV variety of milk weed (memories of my youth). it'll be interesting to see if they like that as well.
We have 4 so far which is a surprise. Haven't seen any adults.
I suggest planning on using one lens on the beach. I use my 18-300. If you need to change get off the beach. Once you've dropped your camera in the sand while attempting to change a lens you'll understand. I wipe my gear off with a not too damp cloth and clean the glass with with a lens cleaner.
Whatever you do dont get a HP. Bought the "one" and it produced crap. Returned it and bought another and more crap, lines, rainbow colors, fading etc. Even HP tech (non)support couldn't help.
And the name calling starts.
Then turn it off and relax talking about photography.
Could we keep the politics out of these discussions?
D 7500 is a darned good camera, and a lot cheaper than either of your potential choices and a "little" smaller and lighter. However if you have full frame lenses they won't work properly with the D 7500 since its a half frame camera. Know there are more technical terms for this but I'm a simple guy so I stick to simple terms. Good luck
Great places to photograph people, if it can be done safely. Waking away, faces turned away, etc to add the air of mystery and separation.
B&H seems to have them in stock. I find their prices very competitive and shipping very fast.
