I just lost a dear friend in his mid 40's with a wife and young children to a massive stroke. The man worked long hours and was overweight. If I listened correctly, his wife said that he had not addressed his high blood pressure and been complaining of severe headaches for the last few days. He had symptoms he ignored early saturday, argued with his wife about calling 911 and they only called 911 after he threw up. He collapsed before the EMS got there. He had 2 cardiac arrests on the trip to the ER. He never regained conscious.
Take care of yourself.

So very sorry for the loss of your friend. It's so heartbreaking when we lose someone so young.
We have been busy working on remodeling the basement so haven't been online much. But we have found time to get out and enjoy the snow (even the cold weather doesn't stop us!) These are from various outings this past month.
The old expression, "When the days are warm and sticky, that no time for dunkin' dickie, but when the frost is on the pumpkin, that's the time for dickie dunkin'"
Never heard that saying before but it sure did make me giggle!
Another day or two of this crap and we will be back to normal cold temps! We are fine, have wood stove burning in basement, filled large water cantainers in case power goes out (we are on a well system with a pump), vehicles plugged in and staying warm as well in case we need to go anywhere....just chillin and watching the tube!
