La Couronne was founded in 1345 and is the oldest inn in France. Located in Rouen, the capital city of the French region of Normandy, it is situated in the historic city center. The primary dining room one the 1st floor contains many paintings of personalities who have dined there. In 1948, the restaurant served Julia Child her first French meal, which is said to have inspired her to devote her life to promoting French Cooking.
My wife and I were fortunate to dine on the first floor.
Thanks for the bits and pieces Jim, very nice series.

Good set Marsdad, looks like you had a great time.
Sure did Jim, thanks for looking in and commenting. It was a great start to the trip. A bit difficult to get good shots with the light constantly changing. Glad you liked them
Just returned from a river cruise on the Seine which started and ended in Paris. On our second night our cruise director arranged a Cabaret and Can Can night for us, very entertaining. Got a few shots, however there was a lot of activity and also as part of the show the light kept changing colors. It was a lot of fun.
