That's the Cadillac Ranch outside Amarillo, Bill!
Here are a few from my recent road trip to Larryville (I mean, San Antonio, haha):

What would be the reaction to this photo if, for instance, the man closest to the Camera was in pin-point focus?
...I just yearn for a part, *any* part, to be in sharp focus. Life can't be *all* smudged, can it? Hahaha...well...

I find the new noise removal feature in ACR/Lightroom to be quite slow. Topaz is somewhat faster.
...speed really depends on your machine. It's worth it, if you process many images, to bite der bullet and upgrade your 'puter. If you value your time, IMO. <shrug>
Nice stuff! *My* Alice Cooper experience was at a Zappa "Mothers" concert in '67. He was opening for Frank and ended his set throwing cymbals into the crowd. No sh*t! Spirit was also on the docket so you could say it was an eclectic mix...my first concert as I was a kinda music snob and had to be dragged there. I left a different person. ;0)
Perfect shutter speed and fine technique. Do I detect some sensor dust, especially on #1?

This the email I received from NPS on the 31st.
Great news! Your NPS priority delivery request has been processed and your NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR lens is ready to be shipped to Tempe Camera Repair Inc.
Delivery to your dealer may take up to 10 business days, so please arrange to follow-up after this time with Tempe Camera Repair Inc for details pertaining to your order.
Picked the Z180-600 up Sept. 1st. Had a MRI on my right shoulder last week. It looks like the only time I will get to use the lens is when it's on a tripod for now.

...me too. But I'm tempted to try hand holding with my Z50, haha, 900mm equivalent sounds fantastic! But a tripod/gimble with the Z9 combo for surfing should be absolutey doable!
...what does "affectated" mean? LOL...just joshing, I know it's a typo.
My walkaround on my Z6II is the 24-70 f4 that came with my first Z6, plenty sharp and light. I've been eyeballing the 24-200 (a friend photog, also a Z owner highly recommends this one) but really like the semi-fast f4 and I'm not opposed to switching to my 70-200 f2.8 if I need "casual" reach (and this one might be the best Z glass I own). And, yes, the 24-120 f4 would be a great choice, too.
I have the 1.4 VII and the 2.0 vIII both in pristine condition...the pair for $350 I'll pay shipping.
I got into NPS when it was hard to get a Z9 and it worked like a charm. I ordered the Z180-600 as soon as I could after the announcement, albeit a little "late" compared to those who got in right at the start. Even so, as soon as B&H got their order from Nikon mine was being shipped...should arrive after the weekend. Well, I'm a happy camper so far, of course, fantasizing about the different configurations re. my bodies, haha. I'm in week six after a reverse shoulder replacement on my left shoulder (I'm right handed, luckily) and things are healing nicely. So now I'm thinking about how I'm going to use this beast...gimble 'on' for some surfing; with the lens hooked to my Z50 to start! Heh...
Oh no! I've not been keeping up lately and this thread was the first I knew about Bob's passing. RIP Bob, I've been a fan since my beginning on UHH.

I've been saying beware of Nikon for years. Seems finally people are listening.
...yah? Well, there are a whole lot of people who aren't, bucko.
