Does Nikon Z8 recall 'affectated product' serial No check update after work undertaken

For anyone that has received their Z8 back after the recall work has been undertaken if you enter your serial No into the Nikon affected product check is it updated? In other words not show the message ''Service for this unit is required''

I'm just about to start chasing mine up so I want to be armed with the info.

Yes, it is updated. It will indicate that your camera is 'not affected' if both the work has been done.

I took the slip of paper, that has the technicians # & work performed and stored it as proof.

That seems strange. I would have thought it meant no work was needed.

Actually no.
The work was done and no work is needed.
This is a serial # check up for work. Not a status or history of work performed.
If the camera went in for only one of the notices; you would see that the other is needed if applicable. Exactly how my Z8 was processed.

Thanks for the confirmation.

My reason for asking is that my camera was handed in to the local shop where purchased to be sent to a Nikon service centre some three weeks ago. Allowing a week for shipping would mean that the service centre has had it for two weeks. Time to start chasing.

I suspect Fiji is not on any expedited shipping route and schedule.
Good luck for a successful turnaround.
