Go for the D7200 and look for a refurb at ABC (good prices at all 3) ;. I love the dual cards and the pics you can take with it are amazing!
In any case, good luck!
My typo: Tamron 10-24mm . Sorry
I compared Nikon against Tokina, Sigma, and Tamron. Tried them on my D7200 and bought the Tamron 10-14mm. Very fast, good VR, no discernible distortion and highly competitive price point.
If possible, you should really try out each at your camera store if you fortunate enough to have one nearby and judge for yourself
I also have the Tamron 10-24mm and have had great success for both landscape and general wide angle on my D7200. No discernible distortion and a very solid, reliable lens
Stay Away from Abe's unless you want to give away your money! If you want to buy online suggest you look to ABC (Adorama, B&H, Cameta) and throw in KEH for used equipment. If you are in NJ, look at Unique Photo on Rt 46 in Fairfield or Bergen Photo in Westwood and both ship as well
When we were prepping for this year's airshow, it was amazing to see how many empty beer cans there were at the Old Jungle Habitat parking lot that we used for the show. Seems like old habits never go away
I would also vote for Mack Photo in Springfield ((973) 467-2291). They are reliable and highly qualified. In fact, they are the company that provides most of the 3rd party warranties that reputable stores sell
If ever you in northern NJ near Greenwood Lake, this bird is open for (free) viewing at the Greenwood Lake airport. Best to call ahead (973-728-7721) since the deck entrance is sometimes locked.
To answer your question, yes I do and most were shared with me by Black or gay friends. We were not intending nor did we ever consider this an attempt to reinforce negative stereotypes. We were, to the contrary, sharing these to recognize and hopefully disarm the racial and gender hatred we see growing every day.
In fact, last year at our synagogue, we had a comedy night that included a black comedian and a gay Jewish female comic. And yes, some folks were at first uncomfortable but soon realized that comedy is often the best way to show that bigotry is a toothless animal because each comic incorporated how their race/ lifestyles helped them to grow as individuals and how humor served as a springboard to disarm those who were biased against them. Perhaps you could do the same and build that into a D'var Torah?
I've been married to a (Jewish) wife for 44 yrs. She loved it and so did I. Jews are known to be able to laugh at ourselves (Henny Youngman, Rodney Dangerfield and the entire generation of the Catskill "Borscht Belt" comics) are a perfect example. It wasn't designed or meant to hurt anyone and I was not offended in the least.
Bought my SB-600 new from Cameta years ago. Great flash and still use it. It did not come with any filters, but I bought a Lumiquest set of filters for when I need these tools. Works fine and very affordable
USB-C also supports and is built around "Thunderbolt" so that more data can go through the cable than before. It allows for bidirectional data to go through a single wire and even allows for power to go through as well so the typical desk clutter we have now with mutiple cables goes away.
Great photos! I lived in Tours (Indre et Loire) for many years and these bring back some fantastic memories. Our house was built around 1850 and looked a lot like the ones you had in your series. Thanks for sharing
Too easy! Finished HS in '68 so this is still yesterdays' history for me
I'd love to hear the explanation as she has to tell her story to the ER doc
