Thanks for tips. Guess I have to update both. The computer card is PCIe, does that make any difference?
Hi all- Spectrum here recently boosted basic internet speed to 200mbs. When I tested mine, it came back as about 95mbs, just as before their change. I called Spectrum and the tech said my NIC only was rated 10/100 on my router so I could not get any advantage from their new speed. I started checking and the network card in the Lenovo desktop computer was also listed as 10/100, and the wireless router is 10/100. So to take advantage of faster speed, would I need to put in a new 10/100/1000 network card only in computer, or also change to a new wireless router with 10/100/1000 capability, or only the router?? Thanks for advice.
Like new condition of Peterson's classic 2011 electronic flash guidebook. Many technical discussions and numerous color illustrations. Various chapters on settings, portrait techniques, on and off-camera flash, more. No defects, tears, markings. Thanks!
Beautiful countryside, and so clean.
Like new condition, very little use, always in a case. Perfectly functional, great image quality from Leica 1.7-2.8 lens and 12.8mp M4/3 sensor, so it's larger than the usual "1 inch" sensor, slightly smaller than APS-C size. 3.1x optical zoom 24-75mm equivalent with internal stabilization. 4K and many other video and photo options. Auto and manual operation capability. Highly regarded unit. Includes original box, papers, DVD disc, charger, battery, strap. Also includes original small flash unit in velvet pouch. Unique petal-style lens cover that opens when the camera is turned on and lens extends. B+W UV filter and B+W circular polarizer. Rear screen has always had glass screen protector on, no scratches. Flash shoe and tripod socket. USA model.
Thanks all- the Flickr idea seems to have worked, got notices from some who were never able to access the photos, finally got to see them, so I'm pleased. Even better, they seemed to enjoy them!
Thanks everyone for help figuring this out. I merely used the album links, want to keep it as simple as I can!
Thanks Paul- but if you found the photos before I learned of the "curved arrow share", then the other folks should be able to find it also??
OK, this finally makes sense now. Thank you for this tip! Don't know why Flickr does not tell you exactly how to do that- maybe I missed it... thanks
I set up with Flickr, made 3 albums, sent out an email telling the people of that and they don't need a Flickr account to access the photos. I used my name for them to look for, michaelpodlusky , to find the pictures. I hope that works. Is there anything else I would need to do for them to see these pictures?
Trying to set it up now-thank you!
The combined files size total is 1.2G. I had split up the files into 3 separate email sendings so folks would not get overwhelmed. There were 2 other photo-types that also did pictures, they had shared with DropBox. I have not tried Flickr for anything yet. I just want the folks to view the photos for their memories and enjoyment, all they have to do is click on the blue highlighted link to get to the site. Can Flickr be accessed or shared the way I want? Thanks for your suggestions! Is Chicago warming up yet? I grew up there and have never missed it since we moved away, returning only for occasional family visits and funerals.
Hi all- recently returned from a winter Yellowstone tour. Wanted to share some photos with other travelers. I have all their emails. I made 3 "albums" on Google Photos of roughly 145 photos in each album. I copied the address link to each album and sent them off to the travelers. Some folks can access and see the photos, some have said the "file did not exist" per google, some were not able to open the files at all. When I send the links to myself or my wife, different email accounts, they turn up fine. Is it necessary for the recipient to also have a Google account in order to open the links? Or what else can I do so these people can view the pictures? Google does not give any clear instructions on how to do this. They mention "sharing" in various ways but it does not describe what I wish to accomplish. Thanks!
Another vote for Chico Hot Springs resort. Very close to Gardiner and the Park. Wonderful food offerings at reasonable prices. They have a day spa, a hot spring-fed pool free for guests, hiking trails, saloon area. horse riding available. Rooms seem a bit dated, no tv in them, but wifi is fine. No elevator but it's only 2 floors. Surrounded by beautiful mountains.
Thanks for your help! I did check these "private" folder files. Private- M4Root-Clip- "this folder is empty".
So then I went to Private-AVCHD folder-BDMV in bdmv I found the video files. Don't know why they did not show up yesterday. Maybe because I installed Play Memories? Right now I am using the SD card into a card reader into the computer. Not going through PlayMemories at all. I think I will uninstall that program. Thanks!
