Nice. I lived on the other side of the mountains, on the Leeward side.
Your photos make me almost homesick.
Nice, except should be a Star instead of a Longhorn... 🤣🤣🤣
Not much help, but I'm totally convinced that printers run on Black Magic. No logic allowed!
The hourse almost looks surprised. Adds emotion and humor to the pic.
The cat looks bored, but thats just cats.
Like the pics.
Thanks! They were still doing those when I got there in 78. Stopped shortly afterwards.
Oh course she's your birthday lioness!
She even posed for you!
Great pics.
Years ago, my mom would put bread out for the birds. Looked out the window and a chipmunk had stuffed a whole slice of dry bread into his mouth. His little cheeks puffed out like something you'd see in a Disney movie.
Didnt have a camera handy, or a long enuf lens. They're interesting critters. Destructive if the get into the attic, but cute.
Goose eggs are nice too. But they only lay for a bit over a month.
She reminds me of the hens my grandma had... Rhode Island reds, white, brown, and a couple like your Penny.
Nice shot. Love the tower on the house. Unfortunately I have a load of frozen chickens I'm bringing to the WM warehouse.
I keep telling my truck dispatcher..
I HATE WINTER....
But he lives in Western Michigan and doesnt listen very well.
So.. off to the land of snow and grey I go!!!!
Should be some interesting effects if they actually are photographers. Are you sure it's not some very junior editor that was told to write an article on photography?
Whoever wrote that has no idea ....
The Country Pride Restaurants at the TA Truck Stops around the country are usually decorated by local photos and sayings by well know people. The one here in Ann Arbor, MI has a quote by Ansel Adams... "A good photograph is knowing where to stand."
Sometimes a foot or 2 either direction will turn nothing into spectacular. You simply have to learn how to look. Ok, over simplified, but a place to start.
But you're supposed to leave the leaves on the ground so all the little bugs and butterflies that live among them will be baby bird food next spring.
Those baby birds don't eat bird seed, just bugs!

Chevy or Ford? I would prefer to get there in a Mercedes 300SLR Alloy Gullwing
I'll settle for the 180 Gullwing I rode in way back when....
White.
Red leather.
Guy said he had to talk the bank into lending him the $7000. That was a lot of $$$ way back when a top line with everything Caddy was about $32-3400.
Linus. Not Charlie Brown. Just because I'm old and remember useless stuff.
That pumpkin weighs more than some cars!
Only 8000? Ok, waiting to see more! Nd the hedgehog is adorable!
