Looking for suggestions
I'm looking for a site to post photos of our upcoming family reunion. I would prefer one that allows me to limit the access to family members.

Dropbox.

As everyone is trading in/selling for the new mirrorless cameras and lenses,
Why are these being bought up?

Regardless of how many photographers have decided to go mirrorless, others are shooting fantastic photographs with their dSLRs or whatever. I have no interest whatsoever in getting a mirrorless camera because my current set of cameras and lenses suits me perfectly. I'll bet there are many, many people who feel the same way. Hence, they will continue to buy bargain used cameras at great prices when they need one.

I got to spend two hours and forty-five minutes with a GGO hunting a field from many different perches. He is probably a male looking for voles to bring to his lovely wife and owlet brood. Unfortunately for all of them, despite many attempts, he failed to provide. You can't help but feel sorry.

Don't have to feel sorry for you, though. Spectacular pictures!

Here is a followup: Contacted an Adobe support agent again (3rd time in three days) yesterday and, again, on the phone for more than 2 hours. This agent believes that the reason why the photos cannot be imported into LR is because some of the photos are corrupt. So, moved the photos onto an external drive and tried to import one at a time. While he was on the line, some did import and others could not, so we assumed that the problem was with corrupted photos. The case was closed and the call was ended. I rebooted the system and tried to import only those photos that he was able to import, and now again nothing would import. I am now totally frustrated because I still cannot import photos into LR. I don't know what to do, call Adobe again today (4th time) to get yet another solution, or throw LR in the garbage and seek another editing software?

I told the agent that the problem is that I rely on LR, not only for editing, but for catalogging and Key Wording. So going to another editing package will be difficult unless my keywords can follow the edited photos. The agent suggested that I start using Bridge for catalloging and key wording. So, I will check out some Youtube tutorials on Bridge today to see if it can be a work around for the photos that will not import into LR.
Here is a followup: Contacted an Adobe support age... (show quote)

I did have the same problem with my old computer. There were some other issues with it so, because of its age, I decided to buy a new computer. I downloaded the right EOS Utility app from Canon and haven't had any issues downloading from my camera to the new computer and then to LR. That tells me that the issue was with the computer and not the LR program.

I have so much yard stuff to do I have not had time to work many photos. This was a favorite encounter. This female had 2 babies that unfortunately I never got to see. She hid behind the grass most of the time, but I did get a few clear face shots. I will have more of her and others soon, I hope!

Great job! I've so rarely seen a badger - it was lovely to see these.

We have a couple Westies that would love to chase squirrels while on holiday BUT the best we offer is a trailer window...

Any particular reason why they can't chase squirrels?

Here's 3 more examples from Photoshop's generative AI feature.

Unfortunately they look fake. I'm going through similar issues (not performed by me) with AI for writing. It may be amazing technology to some but I don't understand why anyone wants to replace humans. It suggests that at some point we'll all be replaceable. Then what?
