A rather crass remark on my part but I rather doubt the person on the far right could exit with such grace. More than likely a crowbar would be in order for both entry and exit. They sure don't make ingress and egress simple in modern autos.

Well I see they have made ample provision for those hangers on to unload their used groceries. Is it a requirement that that all deposits be made from HEB sold merchandise? Good one Voss.

Looks like she is out and about quite early and stopped to close her eyes and enjoy the peace on what will soon be a noisy street. Probably within the hour it will be streaming with activity and full of the noise that will accompany it. Excellent catch Voss.

I am reminded by the comments here of a sign that a guy had on his lathe where I worked. It read, "Doing a good job here is like peeing your pants in a dark suit, it will give you a nice warm feeling but no one will ever notice." In that place no truer words were ever made known.

She isn't happy but is it the present situation or something that occurred while shopping? Guess we will never know. Nice catch Voss whatever the cause for her less than happy appearance.

I would go for #2 & #3. The attitude of that jet is a real selling point in my view. I like the Red Bull photo as it fills the whole frame and the pilot is visible. As for the Blue Angels photo they are a dime a dozen. It would take something really exceptional to win with that one IMHO.

Top photo has me puzzled. It looks as if it is a refection off a rug but that doesn't seem possible. Any explanation for how it happened? However it came to be it is very beautiful, and quite interesting.

With all the activity at the festival a food break is almost a mandatory necessity. Those folks seem to know how to have a great time and you do a great job of recording their enjoyment. Thanks for introducing me to another custom I was unaware of. We live in a very diverse society and you have done a great job of introducing us to customs most of us are unaware of. Street photography certainly is a great educator in the hands of a skilled photographer.

Look "lense" up in the dictionary. IT'S NOT THERE

You must have or you wouldn't have made the comment. The only thing worse than a grammar and spelling nazi is a reformed drunk or smoker that can't shut up about it.

Super Soaker heaven with pastel water. That has to be a lot of fun for all concerned. I think all those smiling faces attest to that fact. You got some great shots of all the fun Voss.

Just watching all those having a good time brings joy to my heart. Great post Voss. By the way those folk in #3 have one of those newfangled cameras that develops the film all by itself don't they?

The depth of feeling is fantastic. One has to wonder. What is going through her mind? To me it looks as if she is thinking, if only. She alone could only answer that question but it begs for an answer. Definitely an excellent shot.

Is that what is known as an, "Oh #×@&%" moment?

What an amazing story. Your telling of it is done with incredible detail. I can understand your mother's reluctance to handle firearms after that. I hope you have written it out and had it notarized. It is an important part of the history of that particular firearm.

I hear you. My son's girlfriend/partner is a one of those. She is always telling you about the virtues of being a vegan over what normal people eat. Shut up...already.

The good Lord wouldn't have given us teeth to chew meat with if he didn't want us to eat it. He was the original equipment designer so I'll go along with that.
