I was sitting in my office scanning a box of my 20,000+ slides when the phone rang. My wife was out shopping and I thought, "Perhaps the car won't start, or she had an accident..." I laid the box of about 1000 slides on a small table and grabbed the phone, not noticing that I had laid the box on a wedge-shaped folder...
My wife was okay. It was a scammer!

As a small child I remember opening my fathers slide case the wrong way (upside down). I can relate to your pain.

I scanned all of my Dad's slides and have them backed up in three places.
I won't have the problem.
