More than fun, it is MAGIC!!! I have the full bundle. Adjust was my first and is still most used.
You missed the 40% sale...
But if you watch an on line webinar... Resources on their page... you will get 30% off.

Darn ... looks like there are no current webinars and no way of getting the 30% discount ... unless I missed something?

You will never tire of taking his picture. My grandson is 8 and just takes it for granted that I am always taking his picture. They grow up so fast.

they were over again today, and i let mommy know i hadn't taken a single pic today...i did sneak two tho when she was in the bathroom...but he looked just like my third photo...he is growing quickly and i need to document, yes?

I agree that you "need to document" :) I do the same thing with our little granddaughter (our first) as her mom and dad don't seem to take enough pictures of her for my liking! I think poor little Olivia almost doesn't recognize me unless I have that big black thingy stuck in front of my face. I tend to take tons of pics of her any time I can, and then cull them down to some good shots and present them to her mom and dad on a USB drive the next time we see them.

New to the forum as a contributor, but a long time reader. I noticed that some have asked it there are any 4/3 camera users on the forum. Well, I am one. I am an enthusiast not a professional. As mentioned in many sites, "the best camera is the one you have with you". As for my thinking, the person behind the camera is who makes the picture. Having worked with cameras since 1963, film and digital, darkroom & computer, it all comes down to the individual and the equipment being contributors.

Welcome from a life-long Olympus shooter. Only non-Oly thing I own is the Panasonic 20mm and I love it (it staps on my EP-2 full-time). Look forward to seeing some of your photos!

Welcome from a neighbour to the north (Calgary)! Don't discount outdoor shooting here during "great white north" conditions ... one of my favourite times of year for being out taking pictures :)

Look forward to seeing some pictures.

Where do you go to take photographs when it is too cold and wet outside for outdoor photography?

No such thing! If you don't believe me, ask MYShooter to show you his rearview mirror. I keep the camera under my jacket till I'm ready to shoot. You can also use a Rainsleeve (fro OP?Tech), two for $6.50 if it's raining hard. I try not to let the weather hold me back - with anything. Modern cameras are tougher than most people think.

I think I will check into the Rainsleeve. I'd like to get some good winter pictures this winter. I love winter scenery.

Winter is one of my favourite times to get out with camera (and we know about winter up here, as I'm sure you do in Michigan). Just watch out for condensation problems when moving camera from cold to warm ... and keep those fingers warm! With some care, I have been out shooting down to about -25 C (-13 F). When it is snowing, same precautions as rain, of course, as snow will melt on camera body/lens.

This morning is a good reminder of all this winter stuff for me ... enough snow over night to make the morning commute a mess. Not quite sure why people's brains just go completely blank when it comes to remembering how to drive in snow from one year to the next.

Wonder when your area usually sees its 1st snow? Here's an interactive map that will give you the average date over the last 30 years when it first snows there.

Congrats, nice fireplace photo... Not to burn to hang above the fireplace.

Thanks ... I will try to remember not to drop in fireplace, though winter is fast approaching (with those increased heating bills) so you never know how desperate we'll get up here :) Snow expected tonight, and tomorrow night is supposed to be the first "killing frost" (sub zero temp.) for the coming winter ... oh joy :(

We have one more day of nice weather, tomorrow I am out in the fresh air for one more fall shoot! I am not that far south of Canada .... That must be where our cold front is coming from..... Could I talk you into keeping it for a bit longer???? :P
quote=gleneric quote=ggiaphotos Congrats, nice f... (show quote)

To be perfectly honest, I prefer winter, so I would keep it here if I could. Just have to make mental note to get switched over to winter tires soon, find the snow brush for the car, switch to winter floor mats, dig out the extension cords for plugging in the cars, find my gloves/mitts (they always seem to disappear over the summer), switch to winter windshield washer fluid, etc. ... gee, I wonder if I can print this out as a checklist? :)

In late August I posted a request for input on which fishing-related pic to submit to a contest wiht a "fishing theme" ... submitted three shots and this one was selected as the winner for the Prairies Region (one of 5 winning photos from across Canada) :) My very first win for anything photo-related :):)

Thanks again to all who provided feedback (this was the favourite of those I posted here at that time).
