Poor saw, great eye and shot

Thank you, Jack. Fifty years down the road and I still think the handle may have been worth saving.

Trying out PS Elements watercolor edits, with other textures and filters.

Feedback welcomed!

I think the watercolor effect works well. The curtains in the first one channeled a favorite Andrew Wyeth painting. Glad you had such a creative outing.

It seems like even the trees can't decide which road to take. Frosty overcast afternoon in Bigfork Montana. Definitely use download for the best effect.

I see what you see here Tommy, very nice! Reminds me of a Yogi Berra quote, " when you come to a fork in the road....take it"!

Hi Phil I have just found your last few ( excellent ) posts. I must subscribe to this section. This latest one is a cracker and brings back some painful memories Also very informative as I had never heard of the term before and I realise that it would just about sum up my life.
All the best Alan

So good to hear from you Al, thank you. Working with these recently scanned but very old negatives has been a lot of fun. You literally made me laugh out loud with your wabi-sabi comment. It is true, it sums many of us up.
Best to you and family in '24 my friend!

This has the look of a woodblock print, which I like very much. You definitely have the feel of naive art here which I also like, win-win!

Yes, I know it's not a duck, duck just fit the title better.
This composite was created with three photographs.

Well done, the critter's reflections and your blending work make this convincing. There is still a place for "old school"!

AI WARNING

I don't know a pretty young girl who loves horses so I had MidJourney make me one. Background is a shot from my library processed in Photoshop.

Wow Jack, MidJourney came up with one of the best you have shown us, and you nailed the processing. Your background works perfectly. Beautiful!

This is something I put together over the last several weeks. The image was made entirely with Adobe Photoshop. I was originally inspired by a Christmas ornament I saw somewhere and tried to expand on the theme. The last element I added was the train at the bottom of the image. That may have been overkill. I would love to know your thoughts; what did I do right and where did I go too far. Thanks for taking a look. Chris

The train belongs there, and the colors are wonderful! This has an updated Deco feel that I like very much.

Evocative. I like it.

I appreciate your comment, Mike, thank you. Yes, and sometimes a shoe. Better here than hanging from a power line....
