Yes, I know it's not a duck, duck just fit the title better.
This composite was created with three photographs.

I have seen that actually happen. The bird got away.

No.
I don't have Photoshop, I use PS Elements and do things the old fashioned way. I made two cutouts from two different photos - the cormorant and the alligator. I then placed them into the river photo; each layer is complete by itself and just required some extra blending in because of the water.

A very good job of blending them into the image!

Very cool, if it were mine I would put them a little closer together. It would add a little drama.

Engaging image, with the predator and prey being in the blue (no tree reflections) part of the large body of water. They seem appropriate for scale and well placed. I do like NJFrank's suggestion, however

Yes closer together would have added some drama but the bird saw the crock. The almost 5' wake of the bird indicates it is now in the process of increasing the distance between them before the croc gets its hopes up.

Well done, the critter's reflections and your blending work make this convincing. There is still a place for "old school"!

Definately the Jaws Theme! Very ominous and threatening, although with the wings of a duck, he schould be able to make it out in time! Very good theme!
