I have several (28) old picture files (JPGs) that have somehow, mysteriously, have the file date incorrect.

Does anyone have a free/inexpensive way to correct the file date on these picture files? I am running Windows 10 Professional on this PC.

It would be desirable to retain the month and day but change the year to 2004... in that it would maintain my backup scheme.

B/T/W... these are some old (2004) pictures that were recovered from a backup drive when a previous computer had a fatal hard drive crash. It appears that the month and day are correct; however, the year on some, but not all, files in 3 directories/folders changed to either 1923 or 2059... but some files in these directories (couple of hundred) retained their correct 2004 year.

Next thing you know they will demand animal noises in passwords... then maybe strong smells :)

Happened to us regularly when we lived in southern AZ - we had to take down the feeders at night and hide them on the back patio or the bats would empty them completely.

This was new to me... I had never heard of this till I saw the picture and posted it.

I agree that the feeder should be kept clean and the liquid refreshed but I doubt the killing. The bird first tastes and feeds after.

That feeder is probably killing hummingbirds. The sugar water has to be kept clean and fresh. It grows bacteria very quickly in warm weather and harms/kills hummers. Please tell your friend.

Are these vampire hummingbirds?

By the way... this is by no means meant to distract from the strikingly beautiful hummingbird pictures I have seen on UHH... I just thought it was a laugh... and I borrowed this picture from a friend's post... did not take this picture myself.

Loved my 69 RS 350/350 Tonawanda engine. Spun the tires in all 4 gears. Firestone wide oval tires, Spyder wheels, cherry bomb dual glasspack mufflers. Somehow never got a ticket (did get a warning once).

I had a red '68 Camaro SS 350, new the end of '67. Unlike you, I had quite a collection of tickets... it got expensive between tickets and rear tires. :)

Probably not. The standard on an 67' RS was either a 230ci straight-six or a 327 V-8. the SS had the 396ci V-8 & the Z28 had the solid lifter 302ci V-8.

I had a 350 in my '68 SS but they may not have had that engine choice in '67. The 327 was a sweet engine. In '68 they had the 396 in 3 different horsepower choices: 325 HP, 350 HP, and 375 HP (if memory serves me right on the HP numbers)

1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS

nice pic of a nice car.

I had a red '68 Camaro SS 350, new the end of '67. Looked like that same red, except mine had a white stripe around the nose. After I wrecked it, I had that stripe replaced with a pair of white stripes over the top from nose to tail (would like to post a pic but I think it is against the hog rules to post a pic in reply)

My wife used to make some great fruit cakes. I loved them but never found a commercial fruit cake I really liked. They were time consuming and NOT cheap to make.

My wife and I are planning a trip to England then Scotland in late May. I have an artificial knee and my wife has a bad back. My question is, I will be taking my Canon 80D w/ 18-135 lens. Will this be too awkward with the crowds/groups? Will a travel tripod be too much?
This will be my first time to London and appreciate any advice for seniors who would like to take some photos.
Thank again,
Jim

On camera/lens I wonder the same thing regarding travel. I had a heavy film camera when there years ago and my neck took a beating... and I was half my present age. If you take the underground/tube, get a map of the system. They were free and at all the major stations when I was there… it can get confusing making transitions without a map. Hope you both enjoy and get some great pictures.

Took several minutes to quit laughing too hard to reply. I don’t like cats, both allergic and agrivated, but I do feel sorry for this critter... now I am laughing again... guess I have a sick sense of humor. I hope this comment does not violate the site’s rules... but i am sure she will be a feminist.

I have been shooting Canon for about 20 years and really like most of their products. I really like this forum but hope there are more Canon people out there to post about things. I have learned a lot here but most things are about Nikon.
I live in Hawaii so have amazing nature around me to shoot constantly.
I look forward to hearing from some like shooters.

My 1st Canon was 1969, an SLR film camera... which a visiting relative talked me out of. Bought a Canon Ftb (I guess around 1970 or 1971) and used it for many years, would probably still have it but a battery burst and leaked into it making a mess. Transitioned to DSLR some years ago and when my last one, Xsi (I think it is) was getting a bit long in the tooth and lacking some capability re. grandchildren in sports... I still have the Xsi but it stays in our travel trailer so I am never caught without a camera. I recently bought an 80D.

By the way, I just stuck with Canon over the years after the initial Ftb pleased me. It was either it or a comparable Nikon in the Air Force Base Exchange in Germany and I just didn't like the camera to lens mount on the Nikon... with the external pin sticking out and mating to a slot when you attached the lens. I feared this could be more easily damaged.
