So mamy good bag i use a Manfrotto as well as a Low Pro Sling. Think Tank makes great backpack bags. I also have a National Geographic bag when using one camera and a couple lenses. THERE are lots of YouTube videos on camera bags.

I was referring only to the pixel count amount if the d810 was put into dx mode compared to d500, not lenses or a quality comparison or performance..... or which is better or what you should buy.

Both great cameras.

Wrong.
The d810 has 36.3 megapixels. Divide 36.3 by a 1.5 crop factor and that leaves you with 24.2 megapixels. The d500 only has 20.9 megapixels.

That's good point. Love the 810 and might buy one sometime if I want a full frame.

My daughter and I went on a two week vacation to south Africa with a group of friends from Manchester England. There was a total of 23 of us. Most from England five from Koburg and my daughter and I from the states. Trip of a lifetime.

Ken Rockweel is an idiot, lier and is only out to pad his pocket. I had an incident with him where he told me that I would not have had a problem if I had bought my camera from one of his recommended internet stores and I my problem was from buying from a local camera store because local camera stores only sell second hand gear. Little did he know that since the closest camera store to me is 200 miles away and I have tried to do business with them but they won't give me the time of day, I bought my camera from one of his "so called recommended stores". When I called the store and reported what he said I was told that they have no regard for him but put up with his BS because he sends them a lot of business. Don't ask me who they are; that conversation was in confidence.

Crazy
I was very surprised when he told me to see all my Nikon and go with Canon espcially after his web site is all about Nikon for the most part.
Anyway as I said I gave my D5100 to my son and bought the D7200 but then quickly traded it in for a D500 at my local store in Orlando. Not the smartest way to buy but some guy bought the D500 and brought it back the same day for a Canon. I love the D500. Just used it in South Africa Kruger Park with my 80-400mm lens and got some great shots. Here is one and I have done no processing....

You are invested in Canon, so why would you even consider changing, especially when you are at the bottom of the barrel of what Nikon has to offer in DSLR's. I'm sorry but this post makes no sense at all.

Wrote Ken Rockwell regarding going from D5100 to D7200 or D500. I did tell him I was mainly shooting florida wildlife and GT car racing.

LOL, He told me sell my Nikon gear and switch to Canon.

Bought the Nikon D500 and more glass. Love it. Gave my son my D5200 and a Tamron 18-270mm lens.

I have 1,730 points about to expire at Robert's Camera. That's $17.30. It wouldn't make much of a dent in the purchase of a new body or lens, butI hate to let it go to waste. If I found something priced at $17.30, it would probably be something I would never use. I looked at their offering of books under $30, and the ones I wanted are out of stock. Of course, if I do buy something, I'd accumulate even more points and have to find a way to spend them. I'll look again later and see if they have anything in that price range that I really want.

Just buy anything you want like a good lens and use your points towards that product.

Just stay with Canon but buy a good body. For example 80D or 6Dii.
