Sirui is probably the best deal in carbon fiber tripods right now. You get about double what you pay for. But only purchase from an authorized Sirui dealer.

One of the things I've done in the past is test ISO values for relative sharpness using US Air Force resolution test targets. I've only owned Nikon equipment, and with those DSLRs resolution (sharpness) drops as ISO value is raised. I would never use autoiso without a limit of 1600 or 3200.

The only time to use higher ISOs is if there's no other way to get the shot, which does happen, i.e. when flash photography is not permitted. It's pretty much common sense that image quality suffers with increasing ISO value. Otherwise, why even bother designing the lower ISOs into the camera if there's no difference!

My observation is that DSLRs left to their own devices open the aperture as wide as possible, and set the shutter speed and ISO as fast as possible, within reason, to get the proper exposure. Almost never is this scenario ideal. I usually shoot at the lowest shutter speed I can get without blurring, with some reasonable ISO value, like 1000 or less, and fstop according to what I'm trying to do.

I've gotten every laptop I've ever owned used on eBay. You get about 4x the machine for the money. But if you need tech support that's not going to be an option.

What if you add together the probabilities in the OP?

I would look more at the features of the body. Picture quality is more determined by lenses. I personally would not purchase DX lenses, even for a DX DSLR. I realize part of the idea with DX format is less weight. But if you really want to get the shot, weight is going to be a secondary consideration.

Both bodies you're considering will exceed most amateurs' abilities, so I don't think you'd see a difference in quality between the two. The D7500 is a little more camera (features) for the money. But the D750 is full frame.

It's all in how you see the world around you. When a photographer looks at the world, (s)he is always thinking in terms of photography. Wow! that looks cool! How would I capture that? Photographers also carry cameras almost everywhere, at least in their vehicle.

Jimi Hendrix waS A GREAT GUITARIST, and he carried his guitar around his neck everywhere he went, so he would never be without it. Photographers are sort of like that. One might not carry a DSLR everywhere, but something smaller.

RAW format is not a standard. So, there's some variation between manufacturers and models.

Is it better to ride horses or drive cars? But some people still like to ride horses. Color photography conveys much more information than B&W. The only advantage B&W ever had was higher resolution in the days of 35mm film. Some people believe vinyl records are superior to compact disks. Some people believe film is better than digital. But most people don't.

Under most circumstances I wouldn't give $0.10 for B&W. But you can always convert the color to tone by computer.

Photography can only be taught to a certain extent. I would get yourself a dslr, read the manual, and as you develop questions, then do google searches. Photography, even for pros, is mostly experience. It's in how you view your surroundings. I once wanted to take a shot of a US quarter dollar coin. So, I worked on it for half a day, and I got some shots that mirrored my imagination.

And, nowadays cameras have a lot of nice features to save on time or to make sure you get the shot. So, much will depend on which exact dslr you purchase. Before you get that far, though, learn about the relationship between ISO number, shutter speed and aperture; and why you might want to adjust them for a particular shot.

Above, someone mentioned to understand exposure. I basically said the same thing in a different way; not to steal anyone's thunder! I also like Nikon dslrs, because they can use virtually any Nikon lens. So, if you don't want to pay $12,000 for the latest 600mm f4 lens, you can go on eBay and pick up that lens in manual focus for $1,200!

No other dslr manufacturer allows you to use virtually every lens ever made by them on the latest bodies! But, if you're just starting out, it doesn't matter as much as if you had already invested in lenses. And Canon dslrs are much more popular (50% of the total market vs Nikon's 25%).

I also like the ruggedness of Nikon bodies. It's tough to break them. But they're also more expensive. If it's for hobbyish use, reliability isn't as important, because you don't lose much in the event of equipment failure. I always buy bodies new at bandh.com, because with bodies it more tricky than with other equipment, like lenses.

Bodies often require service, depending on how rough you handle them, and for warranty work. But dslr manufacturers will not service bodies owned in the USA unless they are USA models, which they can tell by the serial number. Bodies for sale in other countries can be gotten much cheaper, but it's a big risk.

Lenses I never buy new, unless no used ones are on the market yet. Lenses don't fail nearly as much as bodies, but the same rule holds true. If you're a USA customer and you have a lens made fort sale in a different country, the manufacturer will not service it, even if you want to pay them.

Many other photography products are the same way, or even worse. I recently acquired a Sirui 2204 with K-20x head. But I read the warranty fine print first. If it isn't purchased from an authorized Sirui dealer, they won't even give you tech support! They will not service the unit for all the tea in China!

In other words, if you buy it on Amazon, Sirui offers absolutely no backing. And they are very definite about it. So, I bought it from bandh.com. It costs about $30 more than Amazon or eBay, but that's what you pay for the warranty!

The actual rules of arithmetic state: Multiplication and division must be completed before addition and subtraction. If the equation does not mix the two, and no other indication is given, it is performed in sequence from left to right. So, the 3x3 reduces to 9. Then you go in sequence from left to right: 3+9-3+3=12.

You could probably get reasonably results using the 70-200mm 2.8. Usually, for quality video, you would use a gimbel for smoothness. But you can kind of hide camera movement in the action of the game. Just stick with the action, and zoom in and out when you switch subjects.

Don't expect to just wind up with a finished video straight out of the camera. You'll need to do some editing on a PC to get something acceptable. In the moment you have to concentrate on getting the footage without regard to the finished video! After you get good footage you can concentrate on finishing it into a video.

Pretend you have a kitchen range with one burner. You can do everything you need to with that one burner. But you ask yourself, could I do better with four burners? It's hard to imagine if you've never had four burners. And even if someone tells you what you could do with four, it won't really sink in until you actually get a four-burner range and start using it.

Same thing with camera features! If you don't have it, you won't use it, until you get it, and then you will use it.
