I know that there have been some great discussions on camera bags. But the "search" function doesn't get me to any of them.

I'm looking for a medium sized camera bag. I have a large Manfrotto (MB-BP-50BB) that works great. I also have a small Lowepro that I like (can't tell the model #), but it's pretty small.

I need a second bag for flashes, extra lenses, my Mavic 2 Pro (individual parts already in individual padded cases).

The Manfrotto Pro Light camera backpack 3N1-36 is currently on sale at B&H. Anyone try this?

Price - around $100 +/-. I'm thinking backpack style.

I'm guessing you tried this - but in C1 - go to Help/License. Does that activation code do anything?

Go to the Capture One forum and look for the posting that has the most views/responses. There are very specific instructions in the initial posting that you can follow.
I had done a pre-release purchase - and the code they gave was not an activation code - but a code to get the discount. Not well done. I followed the instruction in the posting and have been up and running for a few weeks with 20.

I put a piece of blue tape on my ball head (where the plate attaches) with the note IS On/Off. It reminds me to turn it off when putting my camera on the tripod - and more importantly, to turn it back on when taking it off the tripod. I've done entire hand-held photo shoots with the IS off - as I forgot to turn it back on after a tripod shot. Wish I could take credit for this - but I saw someone else do it.

I bought the Pro-1000 a week ago at my local camera store. (Kenmore Camera near Seattle.) It was cheaper than at B&H. The ink tanks are more expensive vs the 10 or 100 - but they are larger.

I'm one of those people who doesn't want to buy a lesser model - then wish I had bought the better one. I hope I will get enough use out of it to justify the purchase. I think it will help improve my photography.

Kenmore Camera uses the Pro-1000 for production work - so I felt like it would be reliable. I was outsourcing to White House Custom Colour before - and will probably do so for larger prints.

I also recommend the Jose Rodriguez videos. He is a bit of a character - but has a lot of good info.

I also got consistent results from Print Studio Pro run from Digital Photo Pro 4. I printed all different combos and taped them to a wall. I'm hard pressed to see the difference.

Thanks - I think I had a bad download of the Canon Printer driver. I found a few YouTube tutorials showing what it should look like - and I reloaded it. I now get consistent results from C1 raw and JPEG - and printing from Tiffs outside of Capture One. I still have a good sized learning curve.
I purchased a sample paper box from Moab - and I'm going to see if I can find a few papers that I like.

The plug in doesn't work with Capture One - but it does work with DPP4. One thing I noticed is that it doesn't let you add 3rd party media - like a Moab Lasal Exhibition Lustre. Is there a way to add that? Or do you match it to the closest in the list?

I've made some progress on this. For some reason the full printer preference page wouldn't load. I reset my computer and now it does. One step forward. :)

Hi Gene 51 - Thanks for the reply. I use the X1 i1 Display Pro. It's been a few months since I calibrated my monitor.
The prints come out OK when printing from a JPEG file from MS Office Picture Mgr. It's coming out of Capture One (Raw) where the colors get wonky. Other threads on Capture One indicate that there are some printing issues. (Something about double profiling.) They have also suggested using Qimage. So that might be the best solution. This is the third suggestion I've had for it.

The printer Canon Pro-1000 is new to me - and I've previously outsourced my prints. So I'm in a steep learning curve.

I just bought a Canon Pro-1000 printer and trying to print directly from Capture One. The colors are definitely off. (Too pink). My monitor is calibrated and I'm using the Canon paper (Luster) profile.
If I print from a JPEG using MS Office Picture Mgr , the colors are fine. (Using the same profile.)

Any Capture One users have any suggestions?
