I just bought a Canon Pro-1000 printer and trying to print directly from Capture One. The colors are definitely off. (Too pink). My monitor is calibrated and I'm using the Canon paper (Luster) profile.
If I print from a JPEG using MS Office Picture Mgr , the colors are fine. (Using the same profile.)
Any Capture One users have any suggestions?
Thanks...

I have the same problem with a Canon-100 printing from ON1 -2019 Version. The prints where not as vibrant as the screen image. When I printed the same image from Lightroom V6.14 the screen vibrance was transferred to the print. I was using Canon paper and in both editors I was able to select the canon paper I was using. I am using an Apple iMac 21.5" 2017 computer. Any help would be appreciated. I know I have not answered your question but maybe Canon printers are not paired well with certain editors.

Don't know that I can help with this but here goes.
After processing I save as Tiff files. I print the TIFF
to a Canon PRI-100 using the Canon Easy Print Software.
I have used Canon, HP, Kodak, and several different
Red River papers with no color shift that I have had with
using the print command from different programs.

How did you calibrate your display and when was the last time you did it? How are you using the printer - are you softproofing you image prior to printing, to flag any out of gamut or off colors, and which rendering intent works best for my image (usually perceptual).
I use Qimage for printing. I've been using it for years, and I never have issues such as you describe. I profile my displays monthly, and before any large print event, like a show or a set of wedding images, regardless of whether I print in-house or send it to a lab.
Hi Gene 51 - Thanks for the reply. I use the X1 i1 Display Pro. It's been a few months since I calibrated my monitor.
The prints come out OK when printing from a JPEG file from MS Office Picture Mgr. It's coming out of Capture One (Raw) where the colors get wonky. Other threads on Capture One indicate that there are some printing issues. (Something about double profiling.) They have also suggested using Qimage. So that might be the best solution. This is the third suggestion I've had for it.
The printer Canon Pro-1000 is new to me - and I've previously outsourced my prints. So I'm in a steep learning curve.
Like your pics on Flickr. Thanks again for the help.

Enable profiling EITHER in the printer driver OR in Capture One.
Be sure your monitor is freshly calibrated and profiled.
Canon has special software for their printers. It's on their website. Try it... Others on UHH swear by it.

I have attended many classes on printing with Canon printers and they always suggest that you download and use the Canon plugin called Print Studio Pro. I just tried to see if it is compatible with Capture One but couldn't find any information about that. I know that this plugin works with the Adobe products including Lightroom and Photoshop. I use this plugin with both of those apps and it makes printing simple. I'm not kidding you about what Canon says. If you were to call them they would recommend this plugin. I'd download and install it and then see if you can use it with Capture One. If not, then I'd also download Canons software that comes with all Canon cameras, Digital Photo Professional or DPP for short. It will use the plugin too.
The PSP plugin allows you to use 3rd party paper and Canons paper with icc profiles and it makes it easy. This way you get the proper colors when using any paper with the proper icc profile.
Thanks Bill and Jeep Daddy.
The plug in doesn't work with Capture One - but it does work with DPP4. One thing I noticed is that it doesn't let you add 3rd party media - like a Moab Lasal Exhibition Lustre. Is there a way to add that? Or do you match it to the closest in the list?
I've made some progress on this. For some reason the full printer preference page wouldn't load. I reset my computer and now it does. One step forward. :)

Moab's website will probably tell you exactly how to profile that paper. You can also make your own paper profiles with a ColorMunki Photo device. I've done this before with great results.
Thanks - I think I had a bad download of the Canon Printer driver. I found a few YouTube tutorials showing what it should look like - and I reloaded it. I now get consistent results from C1 raw and JPEG - and printing from Tiffs outside of Capture One. I still have a good sized learning curve.
I purchased a sample paper box from Moab - and I'm going to see if I can find a few papers that I like.
I also got consistent results from Print Studio Pro run from Digital Photo Pro 4. I printed all different combos and taped them to a wall. I'm hard pressed to see the difference.

Do you let the printer manage color or the program? Which ever you do, turn the other to OFF, to avoid strange colors!
I am managing the printer color. I think that was one of the issues I had before.
Thanks.
