Thank you all for your input. I can print with photo paper on this printer and I am encouraged that for now I may get good prints. I will need to check on the max size print possible for this printer.

I am about to print some photos from my last evening adventure. Question is do I print the images on glossy photo paper or a semi gloss type paper. I know this may be an open ended question. So just looking for experiences from fellow UH members and thoughts.
I am new to this and for now just using an HP all in one printer. So I have pretty low expectations on quality of the print. Any and all honest comments welcome. I know I need to purchase a better printer down the road and that is in my plan.

Funny story, one night my dog (springer spaniel). Would not come in from the backyard. I went to see what was up. He was face to face with a opossum. I called him and as trained he tried to pick it up and bring it to me. Gosh, I yelled drop it. Good thing he did. Of course the opossum went limp. Finally got the dog in the house so the poor animal could go back into the woods. Man, just did not need that in the house.
Right now I have my camera set for both. I know it takes up much more memory space but cards are pretty inexpensive these days. I do that because I am just starting to learn post processing and I feel better if I have a JPEG as backup.

Well maybe there could be some focus on the positive for a change. There is enough negativity going around these days.

I really like this photo. I agree you don't have to agree, but you do have to respect the view.
All I can say is WOW!!!!. This story brings tears to my eyes, as I remember my Dad and his WWII stories. Only when pulled out of him. Those men were heroes and so humble about their service to our freedom.
I served almost 30 years just to carry on my fathers great sacrifices.
I am thinking of doing a photo project of many of the lighthouses on the Washington coastline.
Which lighthouse is this? I want to get over to Pt. Robinson light this spring

I just came back from a Caribbean cruise out of Florida. I live in Washington state and carried my camera with me. I had no such issues in multiple TSA check points.
I don't usually respond to these sort of posts on any site. However it is time that people come to the realization that violence in general needs to be addresed. There is a root cause to every problem. So I wonder what it is in the case for violence.
This is all I will ever say on this subject.

Just added this walk to my bucket list.
I like the idea of a 4K TV, however it won't fit in the space required and they are a bit pricey.
