I didn't want to cut in on philo's post, so I'm starting a separate one.

We have Internet, phone, and TV from Spectrum. It just went up $10/mo to $178. If I drop cable TV, how till that affect my ability to get Netflix, Prime, etc? Does that simply come into the house as the Internet connection - and cable TV is a separate feed through the same wire?

If I drop cable TV, my cost for phone and Internet will increase because I'll no longer have the Triple Play, so I'll have to take that into account.

I have Spectrum for Internet and phone.

I use YouTube TV and happy with it. We get all our local stations plus good choice for sports. $50 a month plus tax.

A couple of friends had their car batteries go dead because of lack of use. There is always a drain on batteries while they are in the car.

Go to a parts store and buy a trickle charger That’s what I did with my motorcycle out of my Porsche.

We have about two rolls left. There isn't a store around that has any. So what do we use of instead of tp??
Remember we are both old (over eighty) and both of us have tender butts so catalogs are out and so are coffee filters, tried them, really bad news.

Just use water...

My name is Jaymel Gonzalez, and I am returning to photography as I have been photographing since I was a teenager. While serving my country in the Marines, I attended the New York Institute of Photography correspondence course in 1992. In the Marines, I was fortunate to travel to about 40 countries and I was able to photograph many different sights. I return to a new world of digital photography where I am here to relearn the fundamentals and create some wonderful art.

Is there a software package (Windows 10) that will allow me to backup my work as I make changes during the day? I'd probably use a 1 or 2 TB WD drive. (I always turn my PC off at the end of the day before leaving the studio).

Presently I'm using Acronis 2019 (which I don't like) and backup my whole PC every Saturday. I have a 500gb SSD (which only has 64GB free) and 2-1 TB drives. Should I consider upping the SSD to a 1TB drive and then use my 500 as a Scratch Disk? To do so I'd have to swap my 2-1TB drives for a single 2TB drive.

Somewhere I saw that Apple has software that backs up as you go....don't remember the name, and was wondering if there was something similar for the PC.

My engineer and I would be willing to talk to you if you want to talk. Obviously would be at no charge and we together have worked on literally hundreds of churches of all sizes. Our company is one of the top church integration companies in the state of Florida.

Our church needs to upgrade our overhead projector. I've done some looking on B & H. Looking for your thoughts on best brands and quality. We use for videos, PowerPoints, etc.
Thanks in advance everyone!

I am an AV contractor and we have installed lots of projectors at churches.
Panasonic, DPI ( Digital Projector International) and Barco are three of the best companies when buying a projector.

Make sure you get the correct lens for the screen. You need to know the size of the screen as well as the throw distance.

I beat BH everyday when it comes to projector pricing. Partly due to helping churches is kind of a ministry to me.

Feel free to write me privately with your phone number. If I can’t help you I’ll point you in the right direction.

Buy a 16:9 ratio laser projector and screen. The pictures are some of my larger projects but I work with all size churches. I have two Panasonic projector bringing installed this week at first United Methodist Church Ocala Florida.

$1500 is go with a Vivitek laser. Vivitek makes projectors for many projector companies. If your open to B-Stock I can get that as well.

Taking a Nikon 200-500. Any suggestions on another zoom for landscapes or people pics. Would Nikon's 18-120 be a good choice? Camera will be the d-500, so it does crop.

Maybe a 35mm for night shots at the camp. Also a tripod to use to capture images of The Southern Cross.

Hi there. I just found you from a fellow member and she suggested I join. I live in Florida near the Everglades and shoot there regularly. However, I do travel occasionally to take photos - unfortunately my photography trips are usually solo. Always looking for like-minded folks to join up and share photography experiences. Especially if its somewhere I'm not familiar.
Thanks all!

Welcome from Orlando.
Any chance there is a camera club near where you live? Orlando and Sanford have great camera clubs.

Do you have the latest Adobe Camera Raw for your camera? Oftentimes, LR plays catch up with the camera manufactures, and the latest raw profiles may not be incorporated into the latest version of LR.

I’ll check and see. Thank you.
