I do. I’m a remodeling contractor. Look at the Shark Bite. Little SS fingers grab the pipe and “o rings” make the seal. It’s really not polishing - more like removing any contaminates. We use the abrasive Oatey abrasive open mesh.

Your going about it just fine. I would install a faucet with supplies that face straight down. Better yet buy a complete unit that has the plastic housing with a single shut off lever that turns off both hot & cold. I have used Sharkbites for years with no problems. The ends of pipe must be cut square and free of any burrs. On copper we use some abrasive cloth to smooth & polish the pipe end. On the back side where the new valves are installed use a plastic access panel (available at HD or Lowe’s). PM me if you have questions.

Dave,

We are not talking about the same thing. The Canon website information makes it very clear that their app only works with a specific list of Canon cameras. There are no ads.

No we are not on the same page. The name of the newest & separate app is “Canon Connect & Control”. That is my fault.

Do the "new" features do anything unique?

The app I am using is the old version and was free. The new version has many additional features, including the ability to connect to many other manufacturers cameras. However, there are in app purchases. Just google canon camera connect and you’ll find all the info.

Apparently it was upgraded and a lot of Canon cameras can connect directly to WiFi or phone and get images to your computer without wires or from "the field".

My phone does that, but not my cameras. It makes me wish I had a Canon!

Anybody using it?

I have used it for about 2 1/2 years with 2 canon bodies. After set up it works well. You can also use it to control the camera - shoot, change settings & live view. I use it with my iPad. Great for quick posts to social media.

I do not understand your use of the word tethering. I have an iPad and using the Canon Connect App I connect 2 bodies - with no problems and I do not have to be connected to WiFi.

I have two bodies, a T6 & 77D. I have 2 batteries for each in addition to the original Canon. Both B&M and Wasabi and have had no problems. The T6 charger will charge any battery, but the 77D charger will only charge canon. Most 3rd party batteries include a charger to get around this chip canon puts in it’s newer models.

If you filed electronically and had the refund direct deposited to your bank account, then the IRS has the information it needs. If you filed electronically or by paper and opted for a paper check, then that is what should happen with the stimulus payment. My wife and I have filed electronically for years. Our stimulus payments hit our bank account yesterday.
