This is a tumbling stream that I visit several times a year.
It actually goes totally dry in the summer, but is gorgeous in the autumn.

Reminds me of St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.
I read an article just last week warning about the likelihood of them going extinct in the wild.
There are only about 97,000 left in the wild, and the numbers have dropped dramatically
in the past 30 years.
It seems like it would be a lot more work for the original carpenter to install that window diagonally, so it is cool that he went to the trouble to make the whole building more distinctive.
