Safe for cameras and SD cards. It is important to carry your camera on board versus packing it with your checked luggage because most airlines will not reimburse you for "electronic" gear, including cameras, that are lost or stolen.

I am looking to move from a DX to full frame. Currently looking at the Nikon D750 or the D810. Most of my shooting is for nature, scenic, and world wide travel. I have read most of the on-line technical comparisons but I would like to hear from photographers who have used both cameras and can tell me their impressions of the advantages ( the good points) and disadvantages (irritating features) of each one.

If you go the Great Barrier Reef, try to take a helicopter ride over the reef. If the weather is good, you can capture some great shots.

I don't have GPS, so I take photo's of signs that inform me of my location. I also upload my photo's to my iPad at the end of each day or excursion and create and name folders to track each event.

I remember reading many years ago that shooting in black and white is harder to get a good picture because, unlike color with multiple levels of information to the eyes, black and white is more abstract and you can not hide poor composition.

I have had mine for about 6 years...have taken it around the world. I shoot with an 18-300mm 5.6 Nikon lens and have loved the results. Currently looking for a second body with greater dynamic range and resolution in order to improve on cropping and producing larger prints.

I currently have a D90 and looking to update. All my lenses are DX format with my favorite lens being the Nikon 18 to 300MM 5.6. Can I use this lens on a D810 in the cropped mode, and if so, would the quality of the image be same, better or worse than if I shot it with a D7100?
