The young woman who submitted the tech support message below (about her relationship to her husband) presumably did it as a joke. Then she got a reply that was way too good to keep to herself. The tech support people's love advice was hilarious and genius!

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slowdown in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.
In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as: NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1. The response (that came weeks later out of the blue)… Dear Desperate, First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System. Please enter command: I thought you loved me.html and try to download Tears 6.2. Do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. However, remember, overuse of the Tears application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0, or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download Snoring Loudly Beta version. Whatever you do, DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Mother-In-Law 1.0 as it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.
In addition, please do not attempt to re-install the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.
In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0.

So let me try to understand the concept of an on line password saver.

I use a random number/letter generator to develop a secure password. Then I replace a letter or two, add a couple of symbols to increase the level even more and use it to secure my investment account. One copy of the password goes to the safe deposit box in case the house burns down. The other goes to a note book in my desk that is guarded 24/7 by a dog, that acts as an alarm system, and at least one but usually two or three trained people with immediate access to firearms.

I realize there is a potential risk of my financial institution being hacked and my password being compromised but why would I want to add another layer of risk by giving that password to a third party?

A little over a year ago, I was watching TV, and the electricity went off, then on, then off, etc. This continued for a short time, and then the TV went kablooie - the picture was all messed up. Since I couldn't get it to work, I bought a Samsung. It's not easy disposing of a 55" TV, so it's been sitting. The Samsung has only one HDMI port, so I never got around to connecting a DVD player.

Yesterday, I dragged out the "broken" TV and turned it on. It worked - sort of. I can't past by the Setup screen that selects a language, and at least one of the four HDMI ports is not recognized, but it can play DVDs perfectly! I have Blu-ray and non-Blu-ray, and with at least two more working HDMI ports, I can connect both. If Best Buy was still in the mall, I would have brought that TV to them for recycling - or whatever they do with broken electronics.

The next time you think you have broken electronics, don't be too quick to get rid of them. They might be useful for something, even the parts inside.

I posted a few days ago about a free program called ClearDiskInfo. It shows the condition of dives. I mentioned that it showed my Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD had 48% of its life left, while my son's similar drive has 90% left. After some though, I decided that all the video recording I had done accounted for the excessive wear. Today, I recorded ninety minutes of video, and it went onto the C drive, although I wanted it to go on D. Checking CDI, it now shows 47% left on the SSD. I have since set Movavi to record on D. Still, I'll have to keep checking and replace that SSD sooner rather than later.

A tip: If you get a larger SSD and use it the same as you would a smaller SSD, it will last longer because there is more room to save files and not wear out the fewer units by using them over and over.
