I finally figured it out. The reason it would not connect is that I must have activated the wifi link previously, so in the iPhone, I just pressed "forget this network" and the I was able to go ahead and reconnect to the camera and viola, I was in. Thanks for your help.

I have tried this repeatedly. 6D (network) eventually shows on iPhone, but every time I try to connect, it says "unable to connect to network". I must be doing something wrong...

Hi all, this question to all of you photographic genius's involves using the eos remote on 2 devices, my iPad AND my iphone.
I currently have it connected, and working very well with my iPad, however I cannot connect to my iphone. Is this a case of only being able to connect to a single device? If so, how can I disconnect the iPad connection in my 6D and establish a connection with the iPhone?

I had one of these lenses and it did the same thing. When I started looking into it, a metal L shaped piece of metal fell out of it. It was out of warranty, so I tossed it. It had something to do with the zoom function. I could still take pics but zoom would not hold. Sounds like a common problem. BTW, they wanted more to fix than it was worth to me.

Wow! After a month of trying to sell this camera and NO bites on Craigslist, I get home last night and my wife says "look what I found". Instead of throwing it away, she put it in another box labeled "camera box"! She is so organized... Anyway, put on craigslist and it sold within 30 minutes. Unbelieveable...

Hello all, great forum. I was wondering if anyone know where I might be able to obtain the box for a Canon 7D. Whilst on a business trip, my better half decided to "clean" my office and discarded my existing box. Now I am trying to sell it and "everyone" wants the box! My wife now realizes why I was keeping it, but I am having a difficult to get anyone to look on Craig's list. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Hunakai, I agree. I will be attending a special event there introducing the museum to many members of the Wounded Warriors. This date holds an emotional meaning to all of those that enlisted in the military because of the events that took place that day. I understand your point, and agree. But, to the people that were affected by "911", they are not attending to buy souvenirs, but to honor their fallen family, friends and the people they fought along side of in the name of the Freedom. If the museum gets government funding, then selling these items becomes insignificant. I believe this museum should be there for all Americans to be proud of, and so that we never forget this very black day in our history. I have been honored to be a part of this program as a volunteer. Though I get a small stipend for my time, I basically donate my time, and would gladly be there on my dime. Healing should be the "right" of all of us, even though most of us did not suffer how these young men and women have. I am not attending to bring home a trinket, but to honor every American that has given legs, arms, lives and other unseen afflictions and must live with that the rest of their lives. Thanks for your reply.
Do you remember (I'm sure you do) where you were nd what you were doing on that day?

I have a giant debate taking place in my head and thought your input might help. I will be traveling to New York and staying at West Point (Wounded Warrior) athletic event and we will also be visiting the 911 Museum.
The problem:
I am trying to decide which camera to take along. I have a Canon 6D, Panasonic Lumix GF2 and a Nikon S9500...large, medium and small.
I'm sure you see my problem. I'm trying to determine if I should lug the 6d and a 50mm f1.4 and be nervous, or using one of the smaller units and sacrificing the quality that I have become so fond of.
Any thoughts?
