Thanks for all the helpful comments. I think I will try to upgrade to the Sony A65. I know that I can't afford to go with the A77, but maybe later. If you also try some thrift stores, like Goodwill, Salvation Army, Etc. I have found some good lens there for cheap ($20 - $75 USD). I just hope that Adorama gives me a good price for my gear.
Welcome gtobey. Hope this site helps you as much as it's helped me.
I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with the cameras listed above. I currently have the Canon T3i, with about 20000 Shutter count, but am not really liking it. It's a little difficult for me to use, and I have seen that the Sigma 18-250mm will work with the Sony. I know that Nikon and Canon use optical viewfinders, while Sony uses an electronic one. Is there any real difference between the viewfinders? I'm thinking about sending my camera into Adorama for them to give me a Quote, but I want to make sure that I really want to get rid of my T3i. I love the Sigma lens that I have, and want to get another super-zoom for my new camera if I get one. What are your opinions on this issue? Thanks for your feedback.
How far away were you, and did you crop these photos?
What is wrong with them? I'm trying to learn.
I just started taking photos with a DSLR last year, and have been trying to get better photos. I want to take a photography course for DSLR's, but it has to be very cheap or preferably FREE. I have the Canon T3i with the older non-Macro Sigma 18-250mm. I take photos of landscape, wildlife, flowers, and anything that catches my eye. I have been trying to find a how to that takes using the camera one step at a time. I'm more hands on, than book learning. Hope you like my photos.
