Hi all, just wanted to know if anyone has had an issue with auto focus on D850 and 70-200 2.8 FLED lens? My issue is that the lens seems to move slightly in the mount and as a result sometimes focus does not work, however if I put a slight pressure on it to tighten mount it works again. Never had this issue before and it doesn’t seem to be a problem on my 200-500 lens. Anything I should check ?

i had a similar problem with my 850 when I put a Tamron 150 - 600 on it. Auto focus (back button) would not work properly. Changes lens and still a problem. Set camera back to factory defaults --- problem went away. Why? I have no idea. All is working well now.

Call the DEC and ask. Call your local parks dept. Hope all you want, that means nothing. They have been spraying at night by helicopter for over a year over ALL areas including residential. Mostly out in Suffolk county NY. Saving a handful of butterflies in your backyard is all well and good, but what about the millions of bugs all over Log Island that are not in your backyard? The government wants the spraying. That is who you need to contact.

Crossing your fingers will not bring the butterflies back. Convincing the big wigs to stop spraying insecticides will.

The mosquitoes carry a virus (I think it is pronounced west nile virus) so the decision on Long Island was to have helicopters spraying at night to control the problem. The new problem is that the spraying is killing butterflies, lady bugs, bees, wasps, praying mantis, moths, dragon flies, and other delicate necessary desirable critters. A lot of those critters are also a food source for frogs etc so the negative effect trickles down and is just plain bad.
