I believe your problem is your instructor. He needs to communicate with the animals. They are just that. If the fox needed to move 4 degrees you must tell it that.
Alexandria Bay is at the north end of interstate 81 north of Syracuse. It’s a good four hour trip one way.
Had the same problem. Take a wide rubber band, 1/8” or so, and slightly less diameter than your lens. Stretch it around the filter, the part that is to rotate. Not much effort and it should turn the filter. They must oxide somewhat. The filter turns much easier for now.
So I took off my hat and said imagine that!
It’s an Accurite Atlas home weather station. Have one just like it on the peak of my shed roof.
So do I. I’d rather root for Jr. or one of the Hendricks guys.

Does anybody have experience with Camera Repair Service of York, Pennsylvania?
Have you tried “Hoyer’s Photo” on Washington Blvd. in Williamsport?
Looks like it’s standing in the woods! We have had several over the years at our club in northern PA. Out of 7 or 8 of them, I only know of one that was shot. This is on over 2500 acres of private land. It’s supposed to be bad luck if you shoot one. The gentleman that shot it, probably 25 years ago, appears to not have had bad luck.
You bought this camera next month????
If your going to Elmira/Corning area go to the glider port and take a ride. Nothing like it. It is the glider port of the world. Also, in Lock Haven, Pa, there is a architect that owns a Russian mig. Not sure of model. He keeps it at the Williamsport Lycoming Co. airport. Will take you for a ride. Used to be $300 for 1/2 hour. In Lock Haven you will also find the Piper aircraft museum and in Williamsport is Avco Lycoming museum. They used to make motors for Cords and Duesenburg autos, still motors for Piper and others, and motors for the military drones.
The area from Corning to Williamsport to Lock Haven is a hotbed for aviation. All within 1 hour or less from Williamsport!
Have used nose oil on my fly rod ferrules for 30 years, works great! Get it at the crease where your nose and cheek meets.
For stubborn filters stretch a rubber band around the filter and try turning. Should be much easier.
Deer do not carry Lyme disease. They can carry ticks which can cause
Lyme disease if one of them bites you.
In Pa. it is illegal to hunt, with a gun or bow, over bait, except a few countries near Philadelphia. It is legal to hunt a food plot, even if it’s planted with corn.
The molasses will not attract deer. It will attract bears. That will be the end of your feeder! Just use shelled corn. Can buy a 80 lb. bag of corn at a local feed mill for around $12 here in north central Pa. Bear could still be attracted to it. Throw a little corn around the feeder on the ground. This should kick start the deer to using the feeder.
Dolley’s Diner on Golden Strip still has number 6 and they work.
