Hi UHG
I have just purchased a D800 and cant find the histogram function in playback.
On my D7100 if I took a shot I could press play to see the shot then press the right hand button in the centre of the navigator wheel and it would overlay the histogram on the picture.
on my D800 I can seem to find this option.
of I press the play key then the right hand button it brings up all my shots then I have to select the picture then press the navigator key and eventually get the histogram to the right of the shot.
This seems overly long winded.
is there a way I can do this ?
Much Respect
Moggey
Thank you , it does alter the shot and it looks a lot better, I'm still on a learning curve. heres my attempt.
Many thanks for your appreciated opinion and editing

That's ok if you want to copy it.
I tried to level the horizon but this just made the church look tilted.
This is a location ive been to a few time but it never quite got the shot but got a decent one at last.
Comments and suggestions for possible improvements would be greatly appreciated.
Hi I have attached 2 pictures , 1 landscape and one portrait.
As you can see both tilt inwards, I am trying to fit as much of Cathedral in as possible and because the grounds that surround it I have to use a wide angle,
Maybe as Goofy says I need to use "Transform" /Vertical Perspective slider to straighten up the image.
Many thanks for you replies
Hi UHH forum
I have been trying out a few of my lenses on my D7100.
I have noticed that I seem to get a fisheye affect between 10 and 17mm if I take a shot in portrait, tall buildings seem distorted.
I've heard there's a way to correct this in Photoshop.
I have Elements 11.
Any ideas guys ?
Thank you all for your comments.
I have just seen the dust spot opps !!
Respect to you all
Hi SX2002
Both shots were taken at around 8am, I used a Lee 0.9 soft grad with a Lee Big Stopper which is a 10 stop filter, very similar to glass from a welders mask.
Both were taken at about 24mm F16 ISO 100.
Thanks
Hi UHG forum.
Here's 2 of my latest shots, comment will be much appreciated.
Both were taken with a Lee Big Stopper and both were 60 second exposures.
On another note, the exif data for the pier shot says on 1/30s but I know that's wrong.
These were taken with a D7100, anyone else had this issue, its not the first time I've noticed this.
Much respect Moggey
Many thanks for all your great replies.
I was keeping my 90 in the car for those 1 in a million moments but havent had one yet !!!!
I like the idea of converting it to IR.
Oh i see im supposed to change my undewear every few month !!! well that will save me turning them inside out every fortnight !!
Hi gang
After a little bit of advice, I currently have a D90 and a D7000 and have just aquired a D7100, my dilemma is do I keep the 90 or 7000 as a second camera, I have had two 90's and this has always proved a great camera ( im a bit sentimental about my 90 ), or do I keep the 7000, a great camera but I have had a few focusing issues with it but Ive also had some great shots.
Both have their pro's and con's but I just cant decide.
Help please :?: :!: :?:
Hi Guys
Thank you all for your advice, Briace/JR1 there are some great shots there.
There is a mention of focus on infinity, can you elaborate on this please.
Many thanks
