Hi UHG

I have just purchased a D800 and cant find the histogram function in playback.

On my D7100 if I took a shot I could press play to see the shot then press the right hand button in the centre of the navigator wheel and it would overlay the histogram on the picture.

on my D800 I can seem to find this option.
of I press the play key then the right hand button it brings up all my shots then I have to select the picture then press the navigator key and eventually get the histogram to the right of the shot.

This seems overly long winded.

is there a way I can do this ?

Much Respect

After bringing up the pic, if you press right or left on the selection button it will bring up the next or previous image, but, if you press down it brings up the histogram you are looking for.

There's a great little accessory that comes with the camera and prevents owners from looking like a Goog.

It's called the owner's manual.

Cheers, Rob.

You have to turn it on in the menu options first then it is exactly as the D7100.
