Hi, wondering whether any Nikon members who have both books, or know the contents of both, can advise whether a novice seeking to thoroughly learn the D7200 would benefit at the outset from BOTH Steve Perry's Exposure & Metering book and his Nikon AF Systems book? As a beginner who hasn't delved into AF modes at all yet, I wondered whether the Exposure & Metering book would do for a while.
I know ordinarily I could buy one now, one later but in 8 short weeks I'll be on the ocean with no internet access for weeks at a time. So if the AF-specific book is for much more advanced folk, I could wait & get it at its latest version a year or so down the road (ocean!) when I know what I'm doing a little better. But if the AF book is essential from the outset then I'd be best to get both now. That's the question I guess.

Dione, I am a user of two Nikon cameras, D5100 and D7200, two Olympus cameras, OMD EM10 Mk2 and OMD EM5 Mk2 and a Canon point & shoot. I can say with conviction, buy Steve's books! Contrary to what another poster has said, you can download the books to the iPad iBooks App and you will have access to each book while at sea when out of both cell phone and WiFi service. I do this all the time when travelling in remote areas of both Europe and Africa where there is no service for either cell phones or WiFi. If you have an Android device instead of an Apple iPad, then you will have to get advice from an Android device user as I am not knowledgeable about Android devices. Best regards, Garth
