Need some opinions please...
I already got rid of that it went after the first round of suggestions!! thanks!!!
Hi: First let me say, I love the subject as I am a cat person! My favorite is #1. I have entered our county fair and a few other shows, my cat photo had chopped off the tip of my cat's ear...I hadn't really thought about it. They said I would have gotten first place instead of second. So, I'd say be careful not to chop off the tail if you are going for a full body shot, focus on the eyes. I'd say in #2, maybe make the eyes pop a bit more. Good luck to you, it is a fun experience. Do the judges give you feedback? I have had some contests where the judges don't tell you a thing to improve, I don't like that. I mean if I didn't get any awards, please tell me how to improve. Cheryl
There ya go. More contrast and even your blue & white shirt look better.

Now there you have it - great shot
I just dropped a little kitty off at the vet this morning for the de-claw thingee. Went to lunch with the wife last week and we just "happened to stop by" the shelter and we adopted the neatest little 8 week old tabby ever. She has taken over the house. Our Jack Russell Irish Shorty and our big ole white Himalayan have also adopted her and Baby Kitty loves everyone and everything. They are truly special, eh?
Oooohhh so nice!!! I don't know how I am ever going to choose!!! You guys are great!!!! Thanks for taking the time to help!!!
Pawsome!!! I love hearing about kitty's getting furever homes, does my heart good!!! Glad to hear everybody is getting along!!! :-D
I hope I get to hear all the feedback good or bad, it will only help me in the future, thanks for taking time to look!!!!
Be careful of what the call "amputating" limbs and only do so when intentionally done. Run your eyes around the outside of the image when composing so you are sure of what you want before pressing the shutter...
If it isn't necessary to be included "such as leash" crop it out or remove it, leave it in when there is meaning to its purpose to be included....OK
When we took little adopted Razzy to the vet for her first look-see a couple of weeks ago, the Doc said,"Little Kitty, you may not know it but you just hit the lottery"
Indeed she has- she is a joy to just watch.

The eyes seem just a tic....out of focus....but not by very much.
