I've purchased from Adorama a few times over the years and never been disappointed. Think I remember doing so in my role as AV director in a school district long ago too. I've bought occasionally from a few others too, and have no real complaints. Adorama most frequently in recent memory though.

Lets put it this way and attempt to contact me, I'll not go into detail about my experience with all of these retailers. While they may check into all the forums from time to time under their official accounts and as an official retailers name. the fact remains that not all of their staff feels or acts the same way. While these retailers appear all wholesome on the forums.. once you're off the forums in contact with them. You ushered around stalls from one customer support to another.

NONE of the sales/support staff are made aware of your concerns or issues due to lack of communication. Several times I've been told lies and when I relayed these lies to the public, thinking I had some great information to share with others, I was made to look like a fool or was set up by these third rate retailer to look like a scapegoat.

The only good thing that will come from my comments, is that these third party retailers will learn from their mistakes knowing what they did to me and others like be who maybe afrid to step forward with their experiences and not show the perspective customer a sign that something like what I went though would ever happen to them.

I just happen to be one of those ex-customers (1/100000) with a bad experience and there's absolutely nothing any of these retailers can say or do to have this corrected. I've given them ample time to oversee these issues and correct them. But they did nothing but refer to me as an idiot. Does this sound like a customer support you want working for you when their own staff refers to their customers as idiots or other names which I'll not disclose. So good luck with your purchase

Adorama is a class act, and as I have said many times, that in my many years of dealing with Adorama, and through many purchases, both large and small, I have ALWAYS been treated fairly in every aspect of the transaction. Adorama has always kept me informed by email during EVERY step of the process from when an order has been received, processed, mailed, and even confirmed that the item had been delivered. I have also received emails asking for input from me to see if I was happy with the product, if the packaging was adequate, etc. I still receive requests asking me to give product reviews and answer questions that other purchasers may have regarding purchases that I have made from Adorama. I consistently find that Adorama has good, solid, and competitive prices, a liberal return policy, with no bait, and switch. I also like that when I call Adorama with a question I am treated courteously and my question are answered without any pressure to buy, upgrade, get the extended warranty, etc. Sure the sales staff lets me know that I have some of these options, but never with any pressure. While I’m sure that I have left something out, I just want you to know that I’m sold on Adorama! JimmyT Sends.

Adorama and B&H are trusted names in photography. I have done business with both. Both have excellent customer service if their is ever a problem. All you have to do is call and they will take care of your concern.

For the last about 12 years I have purchased from Adorama more than ten times, also from B&H even more times and crutchfied for TV sets a few times. I have not had a single problem with any of them. They are all first rate. For camera and video gear B&H is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. It’s upsetting that they are all now required to collect tax to every county in the United States! But they are totally reputable.

Have a couple coupons from B&H that I couldn’t apply at the same time to a desired purchase so just dropped them in a drawer and deleted the order. Was sent a reminder a couple weeks ago from B&H saying they would expire soon. I’ll give it another try when all end of the month’s paperwork is gone over in the next few days. This time I’ll phone for help if needed. Even if they don’t work the original items purchased were no more expensive than other seller’s prices. Been buying from them for a dozen years or so and always satisfied. Have had same experience at Adromana sans the coupons.
P.S. maybe I ought to look at the lottery tickets in the drawer with the B&H coupons...Grinnnn

Adorama is a good company. They screw up from time-to-time but it pretty rare and they make good on it. I have no hesitation ordering from them.

I might suggest though that your friend take a careful look at the bundle. Many bundles' additions are a pile of junk they can't otherwise get rid of. If the bundle costs any additional amount, he may want to reconsider and go for a non-bundle.
