By happenstance I caught the sun setting in the eye at Face Rock. Got some great shots there. And the gargoyles etched in the rocks at Shore Acres are eerie in the late afternoon sun. We were there for the Christmas lights last November.

Diane, Your good fortune translated into another set of great photos. I particularly enjoyed the sunset, sunrise and coastal shots. They are all winners, but I will single out the 2nd, 3rd and 8th photos as my favorites because of the excellent compositions, contrasting waves and beautiful soft colors. Not only does the fog add a sense of mystery to many of the images, it is akin to an externally imposed bokeh that forces the viewer to focus on the important elements of the image – the dramatic foregrounds.

What a joy to look at your beautiful images. My wife and I visited in Oregon a couple of years ago in the spring. Your images were quite a memory trip for us and reminded us of the wonderful time we had while visiting and shooting photos along the coast. That is one of the great things about photos, after repeated viewings from a picture album, it is so much easier to return to the site in one's mind, thus our great enjoyment of your images.
