The Oregon Coast & Beyond: Part 6, Bandon & Shore Acres

We reached Bandon on the return northward just in time to capture Face Rock silhouetted against the sunset, then witnessed a lovely daybreak next morning before setting out for Shore Acres. The fogs and winds at Bandon are quite erratic, so the wonderfully timed openings in the fog were quite serendipitous. That's when you believe for every dark cloud there's a silver lining. The serendipity continued at Shore Acres with heavy fogs rolling through. However, the fogs here added a haunting quality to the rocks and breaking waves which I rather liked.

Thanks, airwolf--the shore from Brookings to Bandon was the most photographic stretch along the coast, IMO.
