Welcome to Day 179:) I am feeling awesome .. yay! Actually going to get out of the house today at some point.
Today it's all about Churches. Big churches.. little churches .. street sermons .. anywhere people gather to worship (one thing or another LOL) Personally I am going to say a few prayers to the gods that invented tequila lol.
Here are a few examples to get us started .. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.
These are the 2 churches in a small community close to home.
Luthern Church....Malinta, Ohio
United Methodist Church...Malinta, Ohio
Bushido
Loc: No Where and Every Where
Here are a few out of the archives.
Churches..being the repent sinner that I am and also a jackleg preacher, which started years ago in the Caribbean in my Navy days when another preacher friend of mine, Tubes Doheny, would visit various establishments on weekend liberty to convert poor souls from their sad situations to a more holy and chrsitian way of life.
Here is one church overlooking the unfortunate of Rockport Harbour
Church here in town where I hear confessions and then blackmail the parishioners
St. John's, Savannah, Georgia
St-Roch-des-Aulnaies, Québec...from our campsite
Believe me, when I am in Norfolk, VA I have tried many times to save some souls in this house of worship, but for naught. I have an idea for my next visit as there must be someone in there who is looking for the spiritual light to shine through their back door
Bushido
Loc: No Where and Every Where
Quite impressive Roadrunner.

Ha. Glad to see that I'm not the only one who takes photos during services. Nice array of your church..
Now I've been all over this church and it was erected, the original one which later burned down (apparently it was hotter'n hell) in 1849 and rebuilt soon after. The beams are 18'' squared and had hewned, there are no nails and they are made of red pine. Naturally due to lack of transportation the wood came from the parish or nearby.
Good Morning. Posting early and then off to meet Peanut and shoot for while as well as talk and talk. Home to celebrate this evening
.
42 years ago today we were in a church pledging our love for each other
we look differently today, but our love has only deepened.

I decided to spare you and limit my selection....hahahah I have tons more ...lots of stained glass, but these are some of my faves...hope you enjoy them
roadrunner...that pic with the holy man in the light is pretty darn cool.

HAVE FUN WITH PEANUT...should still be nice and cool. cant wait to see what you two come up with today.
ok one more...this is also from the Western Wall...I just liked it.
Im amazed how many little pieces of paper where jammed into the cracks of the Western wall. Wouldnt you think that a all powerful god would be able to know what was in your prayers without reading them?????
