Welcome to Day 179:) I am feeling awesome .. yay! Actually going to get out of the house today at some point.
Today it's all about Churches. Big churches.. little churches .. street sermons .. anywhere people gather to worship (one thing or another LOL) Personally I am going to say a few prayers to the gods that invented tequila lol.
Here are a few examples to get us started .. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

Beautiful churches, photogrl57! Thanks for sharing them! Here are a few from The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C.

I got me a long list of churches from all over the place in my archives and Ill show you just a few cause you would shoot me right off the challenge if I didnt get selective.
Now you know I was just in Israel and I think there are more churches than synagogues. Sherrie Im sure your intent is house of worship so lets see what I find. I decided to spare you and limit my selection....hahahah I have tons more ...lots of stained glass, but these are some of my faves...hope you enjoy them

roadrunner...that pic with the holy man in the light is pretty darn cool.

Sherrie I like the mission

Bushido...i like the tippy top with the bell(5th)...and it is nice to have you back. What were you doing ...waiting for man support from RR...hahahah

What suprises me is that you think the Redeemer has a devilish look about him.

Very nice, PG... I totally missed yesterday - got caught up in computer issues and other "stuff" and before I knew it I was nodding off in the chair in front of the TV at 11:00 pm... Sooooo no courthouses..

show off.... it looks like you have spent your life in a different church each week...don't say why but just how many churches have you been in over the last 40 years.... did lightning ever strike when you were in any of them or do thy make you stand outside.
