Welcome to Day 179:) I am feeling awesome .. yay! Actually going to get out of the house today at some point.
Today it's all about Churches. Big churches.. little churches .. street sermons .. anywhere people gather to worship (one thing or another LOL) Personally I am going to say a few prayers to the gods that invented tequila lol.
Here are a few examples to get us started .. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

So glad to hear you are feeling better.

DAY 179 - Churches

The city of Buffalo is filled with many, many gorgeous churches, cathedrals and basilicas that were built in the 1800's. These are only 2 of them...

Great church shots WW

Thanks a lot, Georgiann! :-P

Here are some shots of a church built by gold miners in 1898 at Bennett Lake in the Yukon Territory. It has had no paint or preservative of any kind. I guess Sitka Spruce holds up well in a tough environment.

WOW! Very impressive!

I do not think that is the duomo...it is the baptismal building as you could not enter the Duomo without being baptised in the early days.
