I have 5 or 6, but they are part of my student loaner inventory. I supply manual focus film cameras to Photography 101 students at local high schools and universities. Right now I have 97 of them loaned out, all coming back in January when the semester ends. Then I have to freshen them all up for the next batch of students.

Congratulations! you deserve a great medal fro providing such a vital service!

No medals wanted. But I do take working camera donations.

Good for you. We help out in a lot of ways but I've not hat the expertise to do it in photography. Something for me to consider in the future. Advice welcome.

I have about a dozen 35mm film cameras I got for free or for very cheap, and I use all of them to some extent. My primary go-to film camera is a Nikon FE.

The FE is my go to as well. I also shoot with a Nikkormat FT2. I have a Pentax K1000 that was given to me a while back, put it haven't tried it out yet. I have a Graflex Graphic View 4x5 that I plan on learning once I am able to move back into my house. We flooded in Aug and are currently rebuilding.

I still have my FM and I use it and scan my slides onto the computer. And it is still in pristine shape!

Don’t believe I’ve ever heard a word against the FM.

I lusted after the FM when it came out in 77, but had to settle for a Minolta SRT200 instead. Now I have a pristine FM, and wish I still had the Minolta.

Leica IIIg, M3, M4, SL, SL2. The M3 has the original box. All are great cameras.

Nice set. I use M2 and M5, though the M5 is currently with Sherry getting calibrated for 1.5 volt silver oxide batteries. It (M5) is by far my favorite camera.

I used to have an AE 1, but I prefer my 1v!

Maybe check on Ebay, one cannot have too many cameras!

Actually, my Fujifilm XT-1 is pretty close, but it still has too much extra stuff, and no split prism screen. The articulated screen on the back is actually something that I like, now that I have two artificial knees - I can get those low shots I used to be able to lie down on the ground for. My most fervent wish: NO MORE MENUS!
I do not know about the XT-1, but for most DSLR's one can get different screens (and its easy to change them), so split screens are most certainly available !!!!

And they do WHAT with the negatives? What would be their reasoning for keeping them and not giving them back to you?

I would like to know that too, actually that is stealing and I bet you could bring up charges against them!!!

Contax G1 with 3 lenses
Rolleiflex 2.8f
Canon F1-N, assorted lenses
Nikon F, F4s FE2, rangefinder S2
Had to sell my (favorite camera) Leica IIIg once when I got poor. Wish I had it back.
Use mostly Pan-F, FP-4, Portra in the Rolleiflex.

I shoot mostly Nikon FM2ns. I love the mechanical operation and manual control. I like Fuji Provia and Velvia slide films, Ilford FP4+ and HP5+ b and w, and Kodak Portra and Ektar color print films.
