I'd like to hear from those who actively shoot 35 mm film.
Which camera do you use? How long have you owned it?
Favorite film?

Thanks!

I have about a dozen 35mm film cameras I got for free or for very cheap, and I use all of them to some extent. My primary go-to film camera is a Nikon FE.

My goto is an EOS 1v where I can use my EF lenses. I also have an F1N but I think I'm going to start favoring a T90 to lower the weight when shooting manual focus lenses. I favor B&W, Ilford Delta or Kodak TMAX and Kodak EKTAR for color.

Canon F1N, bought in 1984. Rock solid film body. It was Canon's Flagship. Also Canon T90.
Film Fuji Velvia.

I have an Olympus OM-1 that I got back in the 1970s, though to be honest, I don't use it much.

Nikon F100...best film camera I have ever owned in the 40+ years I've been shooting 35mm.

Been using it for about 6 years.

Favorite film currently available is Fujichrome Velvia 50 or 100.

I have a Pentax Spotmatic w/1.4 50mm, and other lens. But like others, I rarely shoot film anymore since early 90s. Still a great combo, however.

My last camera was a Contax RTS II before going to digital. Ilford film. Processed my own black and white.

Nikon F5 and Canon F1N, bought both when they were first released. Bought the Canon at the 1984 Olympics while shooting there, Canon was the official sponsor and offered the F1N in a special Olympics trim, I got two and never used the second, it's still never had film in it, used as a display unit only.
The F5 is WELL used and almost always loaded with Provia or Velvia depending on what I am shooting.

I did the same thing. I recently sold the second one to KEH for $1000. He said it would never make it into the store for sale. That it would be gone with one phone call.

You should have held out, I turned down $3K for mine 3 years ago.

Agreed, I took the money and ran too soon.

KEH will turn a VERY nice profit on that deal, and they know it! That's why it will never make it to the store.

A Holga 120n is a fun favorite of mine. Yes, I know their toys but I find the lack of settings strangely liberating.

I've also got Canon A1 and AE1 bodies & lenses.

I just picked up an Iloca Rapid B which has film loaded but no pictures yet taken. My girlfriend found it at a local thrift store for $4.95 - appears to be in great working order.

Edit: I Just noticed the title is 35mm cameras... still, the 120 is fun :)
