I have sold several camera bodies to K and H. Before sending an item for sale, go to their website and print out a shipping label. They pay for Fed Ex. The prices that I received were very fair, and when I sold the last camera they were having a promotion offering a 10 percent bonus. They paid up exactly what they said they would offer, plus the bonus. The check was received in two days. A good company to do business with. In the sale process they sent several e-mails apprising me of where my camera was in the system. You never felt left out!!

I've only returned one item. A Sigma 20mm F1.8. Wierd Bokeh wide open. My 20mm F4 Nikkor was loads better. No problems with the return.

I sold KEH some Canon equipment about a year ago and here is what happened. They ask for quality descriptions. They then give you an estimated price (based on your description) but subject to their examination when the equipment is in their store. Of the three items I sent, one was devalued by $15.00 and one other was INCREASED in price by $23.00. I made the deal. They sent me a check and I was pleased with the outcome. However, if you want to maximize the return to you, there is no substitute for selling the equipment yourself. Zing

Bought from them years ago. The salesman was knowledgeable and polite. The transaction went as smooth as could be and I received exactly what I ordered and in excellent condition, just as he described it. In other words, I'd have to give them a 10 all the way around. Wouldn't think twice to deal with them again.

I have bought from and sold to KEH for a good many years, never had a problem. One thing i can say is that everything I have bought Used or Recon was better by a number of degrees than they rated it----Had one single issue or disagreement and they resolved it without question and Expressed a replacement before I could even get the problem item back to them---

I bought a used lens from KEH in "ugly" condition. It had slight corrosion near the mount and a little wear, but perfect glass and smooth zooming/focusing. It was also a somewhat rare Pentax Auto 110 20-40mm zoom, and it was under $30. They're one of the "good guys."

My only nit is that I wish they would list specific issues on their "ugly" classification on items rather than a broad array of possible defects that may be present.

David...I purchased a EF 100-400 f4.5 used Lens recently and sold three film cameras and lenses and have been completely satisfated. The lens was in excellent condition and the case looked like it had never been used. Their rating system is excellent. Good luck .....George

I have dealt with KEH on several occasions and found them pleasant and fair! I consider them, and their prices, the standard in the market. Best of luck.

Have bought most of my equipment from them for fifteen years or more. Ratings are conservative; I've bought ugly, and it worked well , if stiffly. Errors or defective equipment was returned and resolved without a single question.

I've more than once heard them recommended by camera store sales people in Phoenix, when the store didn't have what the customer was looking for.

To me, it seems that they have an extremely high integrity standard, not all that common in my contemporary experience.

Excellent transactions many times. rating system is conservative and quite forgiving.

In fact, I follow their rating system closely in my own sales. Never a problem.

Always found them spot on. I've bought several items from them over the years. Their condition grades are very conservative. Very good usually means spotless. They only offer wholesale prices when they are buying but since they are guaranteeing what they sell, that seems reasonable. Other hoggers feel if you're selling, then you can do better on ebay or craig's list.

I have bought and sold used cameras, and never been disappointed. Think they are an honest bunch.
