Dear Dorothy,
My husband is a liar and a cheat. He has cheated on me from the beginning and when I confront him, he denies everything. What's worse, everyone knows he cheats on me. It's so humiliating.
Also, since he lost his job 14 years ago, he hasn't even looked for a new one. All he does all day is smoke cigars, play golf, cruise around and shoot ball with his buddies and has sex with hookers, while I work so hard to pay our bills.
Since our daughter went away to college and then got married; he doesn't even pretend to like me, and hints that I may be a lesbian. What should I do?

Dear Confused:
Grow up and dump him.
You don't need him any more!
Good grief woman, you're running for President of the United States!
This poor guy makes more money than you do. His wife will be making more than him and you.
See my comment in op's initial statement. RJM

Funny! Although I like Bill's idea for retirement - create a non-profit corporation with a great-sounding name. Get other people to "donate" money to it, and as it's head, you get to travel all over the world! I might try that when I retire!

Let's review post-presidential careers of recent presidents:
Republicans:
Nixon: Proposed (and began to write) a 10 vol (!) autobiography.
Ford: Retired to play golf.
Reagan: charged the taxpayers the 2nd most of any former president for office expenses, despite making no public appearances, and being essentially bed-ridden with Alzheimer's
Bush-41: Skydives on his birthdays
Bush-43: Paints
Democrats:
Jimmy Carter: Created the Carter Center which has (among other things) worked for the elimination of more than 99% of cases of Guinea worm disease, from an estimated 3.5 million cases in 1986 to 23 in 2015, and has monitored 96 elections in 38 countries since 1989. Won a Nobel Peace Prize. Builds houses for the homeless.
Bill Clinton: Created the Clinton Foundation, which has brought AIDS care and treatment to over 750,000 people living with HIV/AIDS around the world; works on projects that will improve food security, clean water and sanitation, and quality health care; has funded extensive disaster relief programs following the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and Hurricane Katrina; and has improved the lives of over 400 million people in more than 180 countries.
Wouldn't you if you were married to Hilary.

If it was just the joke, I would have ignored it, but then there was this:
Quote:
The sad thing here is that this, being TRUE, just isn't funny. What ta hell is the matter with America, that this useless B-tch, is likely to get elected?? WOW, WOW, and sick. RJM
Never good to be giving an opinion from 4000 miles away, but from what I've read, the US could do worse than a 3rd term for Hillary!
But do I gather that an independent might be sneaking up on the main parties' contenders?
James....I can't find that quote in the thread.

Too bad that Slick Willy didn't improve the lives of the Americans he was supposed to be serving. Since you are so keen on the Clinton Foundation why don't you do some research on it and find some of the shady stuff out.....Like its use to fund Hillary's campaign....or the fact that it is funded by many countries that also fund terrorists. You should be aware that the cool aid you've been drinking is NOT good for you.
