Oh by the way, Administrators when I posted a deal on refurbished D7200s my post was moved and banished to another thread. Intending no disrespect to the OP, I would like to know where you assholes are now.

I think that is true for all of us
Now that the D500 is king of the DX cameras, the successor to the D7200 should put some D500 features on it. 4K video maybe?

Thanks for your observations Mike. The main reason for upgrading to the D7200 is that I have four AI lenses from my Nikon F2AS that I wish to use on my digital SLR. They mount on the D5100 but do not meter or give indications of focus. I tried one of them on the D7200 and in aperture priority mode, the camera sets the appropriate shutter speed and/or ISO. In addition, the D7200 gives indication of correct focus. I thought of going with a D750. but I cannot justify the extra expense of going to a FX camera/

I had the F2AS too back in the late 70's and why not buying a FF camera. The F2AS was sold for $550 in 1977 and that's about $3000 today accounting for inflation.

This is my first post on this site. I have been following the discussions regarding the D7200. It appears that Nikon just reduced the price of the camera in advance of announcing a new model.
On the Costco website they have the camera with accessories and the 18-55mm and 55-300mm lenses. The price is $1699.00 minus a rebate of $300.00 for a net of $1399.00. I was just in my local
Costco and they now have the camera in-store with the two lenses and accessories for a price of $1399.00 minus a $300.00 rebate for a net of $1099.00. For those interested in this camera
this is a great deal. I have a D5100 with those two lenses and was looking for a deal on the D7200 body, but this deal is like getting the lenses for free. I am also wondering if the new model
will have the reticulating screen like my D5100 since that is the only feature for my needs that the D7200 lacks.

I have both the D7200 and the D5100 and I assure you the D7200 has a fixed LCD. You would have to go to either the D500 or the D750 models to get the tilting screen or the D5200, D5300 or D5500 to get the articulated screen like the D5100.
This is an illiterate article from some nobody. I wouldn't believe a word of it.

That's an unbelievable deal on the D7200 for a final cost of $1099 with rebate. That's even worth paying a membership fee at Costco, which I am not for now.
You really don't have to join Costco. They will let you have a one day pass and you can buy anything you like. Tell them you'd like to check out the store and they will give you the pass.

I didn't know that. Thanks.
Where is your Costco store please?

My anti-malware blocked it.
I was just in my store... still at $1399. Has anyone else seen this?

Does anybody know when the D7300 will hit the stores? I feel a GAS ATTACK coming on.
