Great photo form a CdA old timer. My wife showed your eagle in the Press yesterday. It is one of the best eagle pictures Ive seen. I hope to see your work at the Fair. Youve given me the inspiration to take some eagle pics.

Congratulations Regis !!! Your photos deserve recognition and I always look forward to them. You really need to send some into National Geographic Magazine as I am sure they would publish some of them. They have monthly contests and from what i have seen yours could win hands down.

Thank you very much, Thom. No, this was not a nest. This tree is a favorite roosting area for the Bald Eagles because they are about 100 feet away from the lake and have a good view of the salmon they are about to catch. There are a lot of pine needles on the one side of the tree.

I thank you for the compliment, Photobud. I have been a National Geographic member for 57 years and they have really great wildlife photographers who are better than me. I have entered some of their contests and have never won.
