My Bald Eagle photo was published in the Newspaper today.

I saw my photo of a Bald Eagle published today in the Coeur d' Alene Newspaper. I took this photo last Saturday (12-5-15) when I purchased my new Canon 5Dsr camera. So, these were my first photos of the Bald Eagle with my new camera.
The first photo is from the newspaper today (12-11-15).
The second photo is the original photo taken on 12-5-15.

Canon 5Dsr - Canon 100-400 II - Canon 1.4x III - 1/200 - f/8 - ISO @ 500. Distance was about 150-200 feet.

I have been considering the 5Dsr .... what was your file size with that 50m resolution?

The original file size was 25 MB. After cropping, it is 1.80 MB. The file sizes average about 20 MB for the original sizes.
I do not use a tripod.
You can crop many photos from the original because of the high MB from this 50.6 MB camera.

I sent in two photos to the newspaper knowing this Bald Eagle season is important to the area's economy because people come from far away to capture a close-up photo of these magnificent birds. We even have tourist boats just for Bald Eagle viewing. Luckily, this Bald Eagle photo made it into the newspaper.
