Thank you, JCam. I submitted 2 photos and most newspapers take a photo and publish it looking degraded and they cut off my signature and the top part of my photo, so that's why I like to show my original photo for comparison. This photo was e-mailed to the newspaper at about 2 MB's.
The original size was 25 MB's, but I cropped it severely to compose it the way I wanted to. I didn't use PP on it.

Regis I always look at your shots and this is another great one. Congrats on getting the new camera, it looks like it didn't take very long to get used to it either. I didn't weigh in but those shots of the river I enjoyed too.

Thank you, trigger finger. My Canon 5Dsr is similar to my Canon 7D Mk2 but a little different, so I shot the Bald Eagle on the same day I bought the camera. I got lucky.
