Jerry, thank you for your reply.

Here's your problem: "Direct Import Item 1yr US Warranty via Seller." Nikon will act like this camera doesn't exist. No repair, no parts, no updating. How will their service techs get parts? Not from Nikon.

To save money, I buy refurbs, when available, and the price can vary from seller to seller.

Looks rather "iffy" to me it has that Hong Kong/Chinese feel about it. I couldn't find their full address any where and the phone numbers are unusual.
They refuse to ship to the UK which is very suspicious, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

What do you know or think about their 1 year warranty?[/quote]

I recently bought a Canon 5D Mark III from them. The 1 year warranty was with "their own" authorized repair technicians. The next day, I got a call from them and for the low price of $125 I could get the same camera with a Canon warranty and a free battery. I took the deal (?) and received the camera in two days. It had a warranty card and I registered it with no problem. The battery was a genuine Canon battery. I have the feeling the ad on Ebay is a bait and switch deal. I will say it was still $200 less than anywhere else. All in all, it was a good deal and the folks were pleasant, no pressure. They are located in New Jersey and are not an authorized Canon dealer.

Here are some reviews:

Good luck.

I have purchased many things from Get it Digital - I have been happy with the fact that my items always come as advertised. As far as the warranty??? That's a gamble !! I have a feeling that sending something back to them in 6 or 8 months could prove tedious. I have never had to do it, so hopefully I'm wrong. I think when it comes to your main camera I might spend the extra bucks for the regular warranty and peace of mind.

I just purchased myD750 from a authorized dealer. Most of the Ebay stuff comes with a 1 year warranty but NOT FROM NIKON USA. Which means you cannot get it serviced by NIKON USA. These folks have their own servicing department. IE, do not buy these cameras that are gray market, that's why they are cheaper than USA brand. I am very happy with my US D750 cause it is protected by NIKON USA.

No, I do not have experience with them, but this is what comes up on Google:

https://www.google.com/search?q=review+getitdigital&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Since this is no small purchase, I would go with B&H.

Well, they have a 99.7% Positive Feedback from 63000+ buyers, and it clearly states USA Warranty.
But...why is it so cheap.
Maybe you should ask the seller that question?

NikonHermit has a good link to reviews of the store, but they're VERY MIXED.
Perhaps you should stick with the UHH Approved sellers.

Thank you for your reply. I am not sure that USA warranty and Nikon warranty are the same. I am going to call them today.

I'd check to see if they are an authorized Nikon dealer. B & H lists the camera for $1996.95. They usually have very competitive prices and will price match, but not for grey market vs. US. They are offering it as a very cheap price - but many other Ebay sellers are offering the D750 for about $1550 as well.

Good luck,
Mark

I understand that this company is a Nikon authorized repair center, and WILL service all Nikon units, including direct import:

and that this guy also repairs and services Nikon lenses:

But you need to check them out yourself in case my info is out of date.

I have both sold & purchased equipment on Ebay, but only used. I shoot Canon. Personally, I would not choose to buy new from any other than an authorized Canon dealer.

Good luck making your choice,
Mark
