When you are buying used lenses or cameras how do you know that they are not from grey market.

When you need any service from Nikon you will not receive it if it is grey market stuff new or used.

What do you know or think about their 1 year warranty?

Buyer beware. I bought a Nikon D750 for Christmas and it has had two major issues both covered by Nikon. If it would have been grey market I would have been on my own.

Truth be known, Nikon does not always honor their warranties.
For example, my wife has a Nikon Coolpix camera purchased from an authorized Nikon facility. The USB port became loose and as a result, was not able to charge the battery. We took it back to the place of purchase, and they said she would have to send it to Nikon since it was still under warranty. First, we had to send it to a service center in Calif., and then they had to send it to a service center somewhere in Texas. Long story short, they blamed my wife for using an aftermarket cable to transfer photos to her computer. We explained that she has only the one camera purchased from Nikon, and they still refused to honor the warranty. Keep in mind we had to pay all the shipping charges, we ended up with the camera in the same condition as when we submitted it for repair. We still had to pay for repairs to boot. Thanks for reading, Tony.

I am sure that this a grey market camera and I called them and asked about warranty. If I have any problem with this camera I have 1 year warranty but I have to send this camera to the seller.
