We live on a ranch with horses, cattle, donkeys, 3 dump off dogs and the poodles we raise. From time to time, one passes away. I am the world's worst at dealing with death. I am truly sorry for your loss and the pain you feel. I wish I could take some of your pain but I can't. Luna is a beautiful dog and I get the feeling that she is a best friend. Keep her in your heart for ever, cherish the time you had together and know dogs do go to heaven.
sorry for the loss of this beauty...very sad indeed...

On monday morning my beautiful Luna got killed by a speeding car in front of my house. She was the most beautiful model I'd ever had...if anything she was my inspiration for taking up photography again. I'll miss her.
So sorry to hear of the loss of your sweet Luna. Its never easy to lose our(call it what you will....dog, furkid, baby, etc) I used to show malamutes, I think the northern breeds are just gorgeous dogs, and that first picture of Luna is beautiful.
Sorry for your loss. She certainly was beautiful
Hi Busmaster 2: I have been there and done that. Such a hard time but you have your photos. In case you have never heard of the "Rainbow Bridge", perhaps this will offer some comfort to you - I know it does to me...

I feel for you. I lost a very nice dog to a speeding car almost 20 years ago and still have bad memories about it.

Very sad to hear this news....our condolences. A dog's friendship and adoration cannot be matched.
I am sorry for your loss, I feel your pain, I lost my Australian Cattle Dog a year ago to colon cancer and I still think of her. Find another dog it will ease the pain.

My model, my buddy, was Magic, the cat who now is with me only as my avatar here. She was only seven when the vet started chasing symptoms nearly four years ago; only in her final hours did we understand that we'd been dealing with lymphoma all along. After her loss, I did some on-line research; putting together information from Jewish, Catholic, and Protestant sources, the soul is the seat of personality, the source of individuality, problem-solving, and affection. In her last dash, Luna showed that she qualified.
So, you have my sympathy. Treasure the time you had with her. It hurts to lose a relationship like that, but the pain is a result of losing the joy of the relationship, and joy makes the whole thing worth having.
Sorry for your loss of a family member

I lost my best buddy a few months ago and I did go to the aspa and now I have Mel. She will never replace Teddy, but she is trying.
Google "a dog for Jesus" by Kipling. It is so moving.
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful friend. Thank you for sharing pictures.
She was beautiful! I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious furbaby, Luna. I know how hard it can be. I pray your heart heals quickly.
